Real shit this halo game could have been a movie from the action to the cutscenes it’s like they scrapped a halo movie and turned it into a game.Shit is that good I had a guy laying tile in my house stop what he was doing and he was watching the game .Dude seriously thought it was a movie .Im not even one to go wild over shooters but this game is a huge step in the right direction .The promethean knights are by far the hardest enemy I’ve ever encountered in a shooter.Strong armor,accurate shots,tenacious and 2 x as dangerous as an elite .Missions are epic story itself is epic.I can’t wait to finish this game .
Played 11hrs of multiplayer today and I’m enjoying it. Maps I’ve already got kinda tired of same maps all the time. If me and my friends want a different map we need to go to a different game mode which I’m not complaining about but I just enjoy playing slayer. haven’t tried campaign since I’m waiting on a friend to get his copy then I’m good to go.
So…maybe I’ve been out of the loop, but I was kind of surprised that there was no manual. I mean, usually they give you a 4 page “pity manual” with like…how to turn on the system as well as the usual “don’t blame us if you get a seizure” type thing…but this is a “AAA” game and they are putting the “don’t blame us if you get a seizure” on the back of the case artwork.

Only on chapter 3 so far. Pretty fun. But I kind of feel like they are running out of ideas for guns.Its like “Oh…its the new alien gun version of the ______” At least its nice how it looks like a transformer or something.

[details=Spoiler] So there was a race of space indians before out time, lmfao. Nah, but people (before this age) got so evolved, that space exploration was achieved. Turns out that they found the flood and went on a campaign on ridding the universe of it. The forerunner thought that they were just spreading war because their stupid. So, there was an outbreak on Req, the humans decided to annihilate the planet to prevent the spread. At the same time the “badguy in 4” was amassing a fleet to “talk” to humans. As soon as they hit the planet, they pulled the plug on humans and what we know began.
P.s… Librarian and the badguy use to make digital loooove.

i think 343 is taking the game more serious. Bungie did a lot of funny thing in their games. This one is a lot, a looot more mature.
Does any1 have any info on how much the IWHBYD skull changes the game?
The Multiplayer is just…awesome. Flat out. I haven’t had this much fun with Halo MP in forever. I liked 3 and Reach but always felt the character movement was a bit too sluggish for it’s own good. The gameplay in 4 is quick and furious, the whole perk system adds a completely fresh feel to the whole thing. CTF matches might turn into crazy fun again with the variety of stuff you can use(defending the flag carrier with the hardlight shield). They let you carry the flag in one hand and a magnum with unlimited ammo in other.:tup:
Players die like it’s Halo 1 all over again. The weapon balance feels completely perfect
The DMR is ruthless at long range, but loses mid range to the BR and is shit up close.:tup:
The BR is brutal at mid range, can’t compete with the DMR at long range without burning all your ammo.:tup:
Some people were complaining the BR was OP in CQC situations, until you completely shit all over them with the Assault Rifle in a matter of seconds. I’m gonna run a DMR/AR starting weapon set once I get that perk unlocked.:rock:
The Magnum has a nice zoom, and is capable of outgunning the BR at short/midrange, capable of decent long range assistance if it’s needed.:tup:
Unlocked the Plasma Pistol as secondary weapon, so I can start with Plasma Nades and PP on vehicle maps.:tup:
The Warthogs aren’t as flip happy as Reach, so you can get some viscous streaks going with good Hog drivers again.
Love the air-drop bonuses too. Gravity Hammers, SPlazers and stuff, but a few times I got the Speed Boost and was running circles around opponents while buzzsaw killing them with the AR, then running around 2 shotting people with pistol with the Damage Boost.
Holy shit this if fun. I’ve only slept like 7 hours in the last 2 days.
Why the fuck do I have to install MP again? Not gonna last much longer without a larger HD at this rate, I’ve uninstalled just about everything I’m willing to at this point.
Am I the only crazy motherfucker running around with the Covenant Carbine and the Assault Rifle? on certain maps?

Nah, I’ve seen quite a few people using the Carbine and tried it. It’s going to fit in nicely between the BR and DMR. The light rifle is gonna be good too, haven’t unlocked it yet.

I need to get my Xbox back online so I give Multiplayer a shot. I’d really like to try Spartan Ops.

On a related note though, this game really reminds me of a perfect fusion between Halo 2 and 3.
