i actually thought that cc was incredibly smart, probably the only thing that really impressed me in that video (whiff slide to super was well spaced i admit).
Pretty good stuff but the only problem is there are literally dozens of Ryus like that on Live they must all go to the same seminar or technical school. It’s such a tiresome uphill battle for poor old Hakan and me.

Yeah LOL. Concentrated way too much on trying to close the gap for DNC mixups which resulted in my limited use of meter. A bad habit that I’m working on breaking. Also didn’t want to risk mistiming the ex slide after random SH due to the usual issues associated with online play. I’ve been somewhat hesitant to go for the oiled up rocket to punish sloppy block strings especially when I’m not quite certain how long I have before the oil runs out. However, I will try to incorporate this into my game a bit more. Appreciate the feedback.

that’s really weird I guess Abels jump must have some weird property to it
more likely to be a timing issue. I’m willing to bet that the active frames expired right as Abel came down.

Yes.
Ex Dive does more damage, and when oiled, is grab immune.
Kinyoubi’s Hakan is real good. He’s very patient and very attentive to his spacing. Like Metro said, he’s real great on landing those crossup roundhouses, I wonder if they are character specific? It is definitely something worth looking into.
can’t say the same about that gold hakan though, it’s as if he’s rolling his face on his buttons in all his matches.
Datui’s Hakan is really nice and the use of cc is smart! About U2 vs abel’s jk some days ago (online macht) i did u2 and then ryu did the ex DP…well i miss him! total castration!
EX DP has a lot of inv frames.
prob not the right thread but had to post this… i play around with hakan a little and me and a friend of mine just messing around and was really suprised that the focus hit and i was able to hit the ultra in the corner like that… if you dont want to watch the whole match just skip to the 2:30 mark

Not to take anything away from Kinyoubi (If that’s who this is… He’s probably much better than my scrubby Hakan regardless, whoever it is), but I think a lot of his wins come from the fact that his opponents just don’t know how to fight against Hakan. For example, both close F+MP and F+RH should get punished on block, but his opponents don’t seem to know it.
He also shouldn’t be using c.LP that much. It doesn’t lead to anything. I’m not sure if using 360+P after a focus is always a good idea either.
Still good though! Nice to see Hakan kick some ass. I’m just trying to be critical.

Landing a CH c. LP can get you out of tight spots with Hakan. It allows you to follow up with additional weak to strong links as well as buffering into jab oil slide for a quick 3 hit combo
plus a knockdown.

If I may make a suggestion though (not gameplay related)… see if you can tweak the sound during capture/encoding to be lower. It’s getting distorted because the levels are up too high. Video quality is great though! Way better than before!
