dont ever oil when dudley is standing anywhere on the screen with meter.
Oilkan can punish blocked mp and hp headbutts with toward+mp, xx hp slide+followup. However the timing on the mp headbutt is very difficult.

Good tips. But im sure i can get away with a LK Oil if dudley is full screen away. I need my oil dammit :bgrin:
dudley can ex machine gun lk oil on reaction, I wouldn’t oil up if I were you.

You can punish blocked Hayates with SPD when you’re oiled up
use fierce spd when you still have a good amount of oil left on you

Oh crazy. Oily Rocket beat Ibuki’s neckbreaker. was that on reaction? That move gives me a lot of trouble some times.
Neckbreaker used not in a combo is probably easier to just block and punish, either with c.MK XX Slide + Press or SPD. If you try to SPD on reaction to interrupt the neckbreaker, you might just end up with a broken neck.
I only did it because had I guessed wrong with the block, I would have eaten more damage. I agree if she does a neck breaker from like full screen, or if you’re already blocking, you should just block and punish, but in that situation the oil rocket was to cleanly get out of whatever ground-based attacks she had planned.

me getting sonned by juri in an online tourney… I made a ton of mistakes and realized i need alot of work on the juri matchup.
yeah she’s a pain but if it makes you feel better that player lost to the next shoto.
remember to lk oil after a knockdown when your oiled you can rely more on your command grab. it’ll take time we don’t fully know what we’re doing with Hakan as well.
Yeah it was slightly laggy and i didnt want to do oil late and eat a pinwheel combo, theres some hope for the matchup with her at least on a normal vs. normal level. I need to practice my ass off though.

are you nuts ? it was a nice match ways to much DDT Setups for my tast and EX-Oil was not good against guile but it shows that hakan can keep up potential

that was a close match and that hakan could have easily taken both rounds, the first round was his if he landed those DDT’s on wakeup, the second he was landing his ultra away from the win.
