It’s kind of difficult to piece together what you were trying to say. Are you drunk or something? Super Smash Bros Melee was a great game, but I don’t see what relevance it has to this situation. Street Fighter X Tekken has a lot of content and it’s a pretty good game even if it does have a few bugs. What are you playing the game for? I dunno maybe for the versus? Tell me, what was the plot of ssbm? For a game like this I don’t care much about the story and the unlockable features, I’d rather have access to every character right away. I put thousand of hours into ssbm and 99.99999999999% of that was in the 4 player versus game. SFxT would still be a great game even if they didn’t release those extra 12 characters. And the roster for SFxT is already much longer than that of Melee which only had 25 characters. You don’t have to buy the DLC. You know if Melee had been capable of adding DLC, there’s a ton of characters they could have added and it would have made that awesome game that much better. If SFxT only had 25 characters and then you had to pay to get the rest of them, then maybe you would have a point, but in fact, this game already has more than enough content to justify the $60 price tag. I just hope they can work out the online issues.

If this is your expectation of games then you must be really disappointed with every AAA title released. Very few games nowadays have unlockables via beating the game, and even those that do its usually just stupid costumes or maybe dev diary videos. Or even worse, an even harder mode: “Congraturations! You’ve completed a great game. Now here is the same game, but 10x harder!” Your perspective is definitely not that of a gamer because a gamer is looking to play the game for the content that is on it at face value. Everything unlockable is just gravy and adds to the already (hopefully) good experience you got playing said game.
In addition to a tournament mode, replay mode, colors, etc.

Probably because there is a bigger risk of hacking it on xbox. Getting your account banned on xbox will cost you money because you have to buy a new account. Making a new one on playstation is free. Plus there is also the risk of a MAC ban on xbox which will force you to get a new xbox altogether.

Well…that’s kind of an obvious observation, thatgamerguy is right. Xbox live accounts cost money, PSN accounts do not. Hacking your console can lead to console bans which according to Xbox’s site can lead to permanent console bans, unless you change the console ID. PSN is the same but if they decide on either front to just ban your account you can make another on the same console. With 360 you can do that too it just costs you $60 again to play online.

after reading all the past post…im bewildered by how the subject matter changed from…how you guys feel about people using these DLC characters online to a debate about morals…
its been beaten to death that people have hacked this game, and will continue to hack it or pirate it or etc. I can see if people were downloading these characters early like if Europe had it up on PSN or something…that would create a brand new shit storm. However thats not the case, Point is for people to say how they feel about these characters being used…
I’m indifferent about it to be honest, because even though its morally wrong for most people to hack(its thief there is no sugar coating it), it gives us more information otherwise unobtainable…so the ends justify the means in this case. There are whole threads for these DLC characters, everyone is excited for these characters…how they get the information for these threads shouldn’t matter.
in the end, the characters will be released in the fall for $20, I shouldn’t matter if the masses have to pay for them if they were going to anyway…if this conflicts with your idealism them keep that shit to yourself, no one wants to hear preaching about it, im just saying it how it is. but know this, I’m HELLA PETTY so if i see ya on XBL or PSN with DLC characters…im reporting ya…if i cant have them…you wont either…petty shit 4 the win.
