dammit I watched all your matches on the last stream that was posted and didnt see any corner to corner combo
when I try this they always pop out after 3 loops and that’s only 770k-ish damage…that is if you didn’t cross yourself up and f up the combo along the way
I did it in last nights stream, i’ll make sure to post up when the videos get cut up.
Also, you gotta do the up H really fast, and then wait a bit when they fall down from shuma ball.
If you have a specific character its falling out of let me know but It has always done over 1m before they fall out.
to be clear ive tried it only on about 5 different sized characters so it may still be character specific and I don’t know since in a real match nobody is ever full at all times anyways.

I have a similar xfactor3 combo that does about 750-850 pre super. cr. lmh, jump forward, air H, air l mystic smash, cr. H, jump forward, repeat. you can do 3-4 reps then cr H, chaos dimension. but more than likely, all you will need is 3-5 reps then instead of the air l smash you hit S and mystic smash super, which will net you 950-1.2mil
just wait till they drop closer to the ground after the air l mystic smash before popping them back up with cr H to get more reps in.

I personally think that Shuma is best suited on point unless you have characters who really could use his assist, like Spidey. I also got a Tron team revolved around using Mystic Ray support, but usually Shuma needs two good assists to do anything outside of the corner. My main team is Shuma/Wesker/Dorm and all three of those characters support each other pretty greatly. Shuma’s lackluster ability to combo off of throws outside of the corner can be fixed with Dark Hole, you have enough time to OTG with Ray then Stare when Dark Hole holds the enemy in place so you can get a full air combo off of it. My personal favorite Shuma midscreen combo is cr. :l: :h: j. :h: Strange Gaze :h: Mystic Smash L cr. :h: Mystic Stare L :s: j. :h: Strange Gaze Mystic Smash H (bombs explode) jump j. :h: :s: then Wesker OTG into a launch and j. :h: :s:. If you got the corner you can Hyper Mystic Ray for 750k damage with a meter, if not you pushed the enemy into a position where you could very well have the corner and gained over a meter doing so. It’s pretty simple to do on all characters once you learn the timing for everything too.

-Wesker’s samurai edge isn’t good for shuma, since you don’t need an otg when you can relaunch with mystic stares explotion, i agree with Shuma-Dorm, they can compliment very well, but when you put shuma on point, you usually want to pick an assist that helps him to approach safe, since that’s one of his weakness and the lack of good combos midscreen, so, the choice is kinda hard…

Iron Fist 62/25 = 2.48 Low Tier
Phoenix Wright 56/25 = 2.24 Low Tier
Hsien Ko 52/25 = 2.08 Low Tier
He might not need the OTG but it makes it so he doesn’t have to constantly charge Stares in a tight time frame to get his long combos in. Not to mention it allows you to convert questionable hits midscreen into Stare loops utilizing j :s:.
As for tiers I’d argue Shuma’s at lowest mid/low tier, I’d pick him over anyone save Arthur in that tier any day. Especially She Hulk and Tron.
shuma is well below iron fist…definitely tied with pw and hk for worst in the game
Shuma has a few things going for him but mobility is so important in this game that I definitely agree with Iron Fist being better than Shuma. Though I would also go out and say he is better than a few other characters that are listed above him as well.

They improved his command throw range… For real. Everybody’s command throw range got improved… There is no way a 1 frame command throw would have the same range as a 5 frame command throw… Try other characters and then do it with shuma… That’s what I did To compare ranges…

All his command ranges are the same range there is no real reason not to use H version, maybe they have better range than they did in vanilla but I don’t know. Also you won’t see him on stream because the stream station doesn’t have Shuma or Jill for some stupid ass reason.

Actually I tested it and there’s a small difference between ranges on L and H. I can’t spot a difference between L and M though.
