Really want to try a Shuma/Nemesis/Rocket Raccoon team, but I just don’t think any of them has any synergy, lol.
Any examples of ‘new’ shuma midscreen combos? I’m also curious about the frame ‘tightening’ he supposedly recieved. For all we know it could make a world of difference.
Also I dunno why, but Quaggoth vs Shuma seems like it would be hilarious to watch.

Seeing that makes me wish Shuma and his ilk would be in more media.
I mean, sure they are supposed to be really powerful galactic villains and we can’t have them popping up everywhere, blah blah…
but I really just want Shuma to pop up in a new, recent comic and do something totally awesome to re-establish himself as a threat.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the recovery of Devitalization is faster, allowing Shuma to use a quick OTG assist?

But anyways, I didn’t play Shuma in vanilla, but it looks faster to me.

Reading that makes me so happy 
So, I’ve been lurking here a bit, and I’ve finally decided to post something! I made a neat little Shuma combo that does 680,000 damage, no assist, no x factor, 1 bar, in the corner. I like to think that this is the most damage you can possibly do with shuma by himself with 1 bar no x factor no assist. If there’s a combo that does more under these circumstances, I’d like to see it!

And, there’s 8 vids of ranked matches I did with Shuma as an anchor in the related vids. 100% every character with level 3 x factor shuma is great!
Lastly, can someone with ultimate check if devitilization blocks anything more than 1 hit?

Anyone else notice that at 1:40, when shuma dies, he has a new death animation? This is actually an extremely slight nerf because before, in vanilla, his death animation/crumple animation was him just lying on the ground. For characters like C.Viper who would use that thunderknuckle move that causes the extremely slow crumple, you could see the other character slowly fall to the ground. Where as Shuma would just be lying on the ground with no crumple animation. Without the crumple animation, it’s hard to tell when exactly Shuma would get up. The lack of this animation has actually saved me 1 or 2 times.

So I bought Shuma, and he is the most fun I’ve had with any character so far. Awesome! I found a main!
I like the idea of pulling evidence with Phoenix Wright while calling Shuma assist - then swap Shuma in, combo into uncounterable down-TAC using the eyeballs (that still works right?), giving enough meter to PW for the level 3. Then you’re back to square 1 and can pull more evidence under mystic rays.
Is there any other good synergy for him in ultimate? Who would be first or third in that team?

So air ziplines from spencer should just be airgrabbed for free, it pretty much removes all his air maneuverability without x-factor.
