That ultra range buff is much needed… the animation actually makes sense and looks more like his A3 super. instead of him just warping for the first hit alone.

He gives us a demo of what he wanted for buffs (they are things guy SHOULD have in the update).Now if he give a demo of guy having less whiff recovery on St.mp(like 14recovery) or abit more range on guy’s cr.lk(more so near the end of his feet) and lp Dashing Elbow has 1-2 frames less recovery on hit for more time for meterless u1 in the corner that dude would be my hero(suggestion).My favorite buff suggestions from SamuraiGuy have to be the neckflip and elbow drop 1’s.
The range cr.lk has now is fine, I don’t want it being obnoxious in the neutral game, also Guy has a lot of meterless U1 on the cast, they are all mostly 1 frames though. But considering this is PC this just gave around false Hype except for TC which was already confirmed.
lol yha more range on cr.lk would be cheap I wanted it because I wasn’t a fan of a characters feet going thru another character’s foot and not hitting them(alot of characters have stuff like that).One reason for more timing on dashing shoulder meterless u1 is during the heat/hype of the match 2 frames to confirm that it hit is fare(ryu ken able adon dudley fei long cody juri rog cammy seth) second reason it should work on shotos (might be 1 frame) guy should be fared in the corners.Also EX dash shoulder fadc u1 should stay the same timing due the fact 1 cr.lk or cr.lp could turn into 300+ damage.
There are several ways to set up meterless U1 though, on all of the cast except Blanka and Ibuki to my knowledge. Cammy, Seth, Rog, I know for certain you can get U1 off of just TC LP Hozanto, I believe Juri as well.

Surely by extending the hit box on elbow drop so it beats clean cr. MK without just trading means it will be virtually impossible to anti-air unless with an invincible DP? It would beat clean just about every anti-air normal in the game, and that would be broken.
Guy’s jump is slow anyway - it would’t be broken when there are dive kick characters like Cammy, Seth and high priority jumping normals like Sakura’s. Not to mention the elbow is purely vertical and has minimal range so you’d have to be literally on top of the character to hit.
Neck Flip is so useless. Chun’s hazanshu can be focused too, but at least it’s safe on block.
What about Neck Flip? Can be focused, can be completely stuffed by crouch normals (how many other overheads do this?), very unsafe on block, inconsistency in follow up capability, EX version flies over enemies.
If they’re keeping these flaws, fine, but the attack definitely deserves bigger hit stun. I feel that a better reward is much deserved for the risk, especially since Guy’s only two overhead options are so pathetic.
If you have a low crouching normal, Chun’s Hazan gets completely stuffed. Also Guy’s command overhead is not pathetic at all -2 on block +2 on hit, Break a focus and its +5 on CH. There are ways to hit meaty which will make it +3 or +4.
His runoverhead has always been negative. If they buff the hitstun that will cause everyone to continuously look for it which would be bad since then it will be even more useless. You honestly don’t have to go it. Some people miss the punish and you can space it to be relatively safe against most of the cast. Just don’t use it against grapplers for one. Condition your opponent block low and cancel into off different normals.
