i wanna see guy’s bushin combo i want to know if you can do it cause i dont want to switch every time i do this combo.
You can, it’s in his move list. Imagine BC into ex hozzanto which causes wall bounce into izuna drop.
But didnt someone here already confirm theres no way to combo into the air grabs? … Maybe he tried with QCF+P air throw and not the flip throw…
s.hp xx lp hozanto, target combo xx lp bushin flip… im sure it works in the corner… Guy should be able to combo anything in this game cause of the juggle system.

Guy will have alot of combos in SFxT i can feel it… he wont be like in SSF4 where he has 0 juggles except ex hozanto and bsk. alot of his alpha tricks are coming back ie : BC,s.mp xx run slide. can’t wait…
I hope that his shoulders aren’t gonna be that unsafe when he’s “completed”…cos that’s ridiculous…I’d fall for the habit.
I believe you can’t combo into bushin flip throw, but izuna drop you can just like every other command throw in the game.
^^ But bushin flip throw is the one we all wanted to be comboable just like A3
Its a habit we might need to stop … on the plus side looks like it leads to big damage and is comboable of S.MP and C.mp … plus i think Run/Stop looks safer now or even +ve … I hope Run->oh is safer now …
run looks really faster in this game i dont know about the stop frames… cant wait.

Maybe the other character can do a launcher combo and bring guy in with a normal xx tiger knee (d, df, f, uf, punch) izuna drop to see if it’s possible in that situation.
Also, since hk tatsu only hits airborne (thanks capcom!) can you see if you can combo characters in a juggle state with it midscreen? this should be easy to test. Hopefully it does good damage so it’s not totally useless in this game.
…You’re the one that confirmed that you can’t combo into bushin flip throw right? not even ex bushin flip?
How about if someone like Ken is hitting with a Tatsu and you tag in guy , it might be possible to grab with the bushin flip throw …
How does normal shoulder lead to big dmg…I’ve seen that u can extend combos in the corner cos it juggles, but mid-screen wouldn’t it just hit them away like it does in ssf4?
I was thinking about tag cancelling … since it doesnt use a ground of wall bounce …
Edit : I am also not so sure about that vid that was posted earlier , i mean at one point Ryu got a Counter hit when punishing hozanto … I think he might not have recorded the guy dummy properly to hold block…

Overwhelming doubts from AE 2012 lead me to believe we end up with a straight port of SFIV Guy, including his over looked flaws due to whatever the reasons. Anyhow check if they fixed bushin flip elbow’s non chip damage issue. Going against disappointment by hoping that his chain has special move cancel points this time round. Who am i kidding, need to keep those expectations at a sub-terrain level…
Oh, and is the bushin “chain” input like Ibuki’s current target combos’ style? you probably know the ones I’m referring to if you’ve tried her in this game
I had my doubts too, but then I looked at Guy’s animation and he really looks like he’s still recovering.Maybe Capcom just didn’t finalise him cos MP>HP into shoulder can’t be that much of a threat in this game. I mean they made Bisons light scissors like -2 but that’s still not punishable.
Are these trials uploaded yet?
I have access to him and played him in super 4/ alpha. Ill test him out this weekend and report back.
Just messed around with him, notable stuff outside of the stuff that has been seen already/known:

Bushin Flip Elbow / Command Elbow: Both share great hit and block stun. Pressure with this move shouldn’t be an issue. I was able to cross up (space dependent) with the command elbow (jump 2mp).

He still has his cross jump mk, along with the hit stun change from 4 on the elbow, his aerial left rights will be ok if you guess their wake up option correctly.

He has many of his staple links from SF4, including 5rh to Bushin Combo (although you need to take a step forward after the rh hits to insure you are in range for the s.jab in the bushin string), 2hp to 5mp, 2sk x n to bushin chain, 2mp to TC. Close 5rh also appears to hit crouching opponents now as well! You now can get good damage on an opponent if you hit them crouching. He also has more new links or older links that are now easier to do.

Because of system changes he is able to link TC to SK hurricane kick. From that string you can do: Rh Hurricane, Ex Hurricane or Super (for all hits!)

His AA 2mp and 5rh are still intact from AE.

His is able to do some Alpha 3 styled things with CH air to air attacks and the bushin chain.
Some bad stuff I noticed:

All the shoulders minus ex were unsafe to 3 frame punish on block.

Run stop pressure from TC was unsafe to 3 frame punish on block.

May have lost link from running overhead on ch.

It does not appear that he has an air to air hit box with jump 2mp or bushin flip, strange change since he has almost always had this.

1 hit overhead back instead of 2 like AE.
With the changes to his offensive pressure from SF4, I am unsure of how he plays now. He has some new links and some easier ones so, could be they want you to frame trap with him more. Grain of salt though, as these characters actually could be (and probably are) incomplete.
