You can replace the illegal part with altering behavior via sticks and carrots. Reward responsible parents, and remove incentives to have a baby without a consenting father and proper planning beforehand. Change the automatic entitlement to a paycheck for irresponsibly creating human beings a bringing them into a situation that hinders their future. Encourage people to behave responsibly.
You people are using the word “crazy” too loosely. Not everyone who kills people is “crazy”.
This kid knew exactly what he was doing, he called it the “Day of Retribution” for gods sake.
He planned it out, he executed it knowing what the consequences of killing someone would do to both him and the families of the people he killed.
That’s the key thing, he knew.
In order to be genuinely crazy you have to be compltely unaware of what the consequences of your actions are. You know those people who stab babies in the face because they are 100% convinced that there is in fact a demon lurking inside them that is in fact raping their soul every night? THAT’S crazy, THAT’S being completely unaware of what the actions you’re doing are.
Having a few mental illnesses does not make you qualified to be insane.
Raise your boys to not be deadbeat dads. Maybe then we won’t have situations like mine where the dad just ups and leaves because he doesn’t want to raise his own kids anymore, putting his family into a financial hole.
Raise your girls not to be lying whores who falsely cry rape or have kids just for that money.
Creating laws just for the sake of preventing someone you don’t know from keeping custody of their kids just because of a few numbers and a VERY sweeping generalization is stupid. On a personal note: everyone’s different, but even though I’ve spent time with my own father, I hardly grew up without him. I just turned out as a bitch-made late bloomer, so none of those apply to me. However, I always wondered why everyone think when a person grows up without a father, they’re dysfunctional and bound to become a complete deviant.

Okay a lack of a father figure is definitely a problem, and might explain this kid a bit (with the parents divorce etc). But does the lack of a father make the mother a problem? Would having kids raised by single fathers help? It would be cool to see statistics about kids from single fathers

I remember reading the statistics and seeing virtually no difference between the traditional 2 parent family vs. single father families. You might want to try googling it, I’ll link if I find anything myself when I get the time.

Just instituting a “lolnosinglemothers.bill” law sounds waaayyyy too absolute, and overlooks the fact that fathers can be just as bad. If you would want a law like that to work, you’d have to look at it on a case-by-case basis, with lots of paperwork and tax payer money. It would be a mess.
When this story first broke there was a article that reported Elliot was involved and influenced by the MRA and PUAs. Later on the article was updated and the author correct themselves by conflating the MRA and PUAs, but still contended that Elliot was a MRA. Research into the claims reveals the author to be full of shit. Not only was Elliot a member of a anti-pua community but he never participated in any of the major MRA hotspots like the mrm reddit. He also didn’t appear to be deeply involved with the most influential and important members of the MRA like girlwriteswhat or AVFM, in fact his youtube channel was subbed to young turks which is a left-wing feminist leaning youtube channel.
His so called connections were basically just made on the spot by the author who tried to discredit the MRA…as far as any evidence linking the 2 well that just doesn’t exist at least to our public knowledge. If anything there is more incriminating evidence against feminism especially with the tumblr community and the popular "kill all men"hashtag on twitter.

It’s about Elliot’s story and I just wanted to inform people about the origin of his posts on the misc (bodybuilding.com forum section). I even stated that I had the same username there if people wanted proof (which you could have easily googled).
