Sounds like a bunch of people from the forums I’ve been on in the past/present. I guess, at times, when people say stupid shit, it might not be empty words after all.
The fact that he sought out help in the misc form and was met with 50/50 advice/trolling is kind of telling in regards to the blog post below. I’m sure mostly everyone that trolled him probably shamed him for his issues, even if they thought he wasn’t trolling. It seemed like he was already beyond help at that point.
Its going to be said more about the shock and BMW driver (free press for them) and “he planned the attack in advance,” to the end of because he “was mental” if anyone cares to look that far into the why, when so many are thrown around again and again with new tidbits to keep it news worthy, open a new program with, those things were always said.
Of course the problem is always again, leading back in to not knowing how to help someone with mental problems. There’s a lot less protocol even when it can easily be passed along. Fine, other members just enjoy the drama and spectacle of someone acting strange like that and for the most part just ignore it and let him do it, see how far it goes. Won’t snitch.
But with mods reading along, leave it up to them to not snitch but recognize it and consider if they want to “whistleblow” and at least have a clue on what to do, a plan in place ahead of time rather than just benefit from the clicks and page views right? Doesn’t seem so hard. Most forums are going to go with, its their rules not free speech, mods and staff a little power hungry - without real measures in place to know they have a responsibility to watch the forums and keep it clean, also recognizing and looking out for those kind of incidents in threats which could end up being, yeah pretty credible as it turns out
Fine line to cross though, net neutrality/NSA spying/ISP grabbingup all your history and turning it over, looking for bigger threats I guess. But maybe some things can be prevented. With- there being plenty of signs ahead of time, we’ll say that but probably not change much or even discuss that part to its best end, better prevention of these things in the future.
Like ya’ll running into just pointing to “the next one” among us, and singling out a member or two off their quirks “I know they would have an opinion on the issue!” like that’s otherwordly. You wish you liked what you like as much as Million likes doo doo! :wonder:
Like someone threatening other members at the least gets banned since they can’t even get along with their own community. Its just a band aid for the problem, and might happen again when the dude comes back right? But I guess you don’t want the ban button to make someone snap either if they’re already on the edge and won’t have their outlet anymore that helped at least to get them to talk it out.
Man this whole situation is so crazy. It makes me just wonder about these people. The forum posts and stuff are really crazy/disturbing when you think about it and look at the whole picture after. He was clearly a narcissist though. Its pretty easy to see that and likely a sociopath too.

Well anything good and witty on there is brought down by the overall quality of very well known to be terrible comments on youtube or is so volatile to be removed from its history if there was a good one you liked. Even more so with new changes to make comments even worse in displayed & sorted forms.
Since 1 person can stop a video from having a url and being hosted with all the content that has nothing to do with the video, but the comments that can be numerous and from years ago and a built up history

Seriously? I don’t even know what to say to this clown. I mean, I’m almost twice his age, make less than Al Bundy, get mistaken for a panda I’m so fat and furry and I don’t go around offing people because I can’t get any poonanny. I mean, the entire world (including myself) knows damned well I’m never getting a date ever again, much less any bouncy time on the trampoline, but do I get mad and kill people? NO! I decide that that’s not good enough and I keep trying to improve myself in hopes that one day someone will take pity on this sad, pathetic loser and throw me a mercy shag or something.
