I’ll be posting videos of some of the mods I do. They won’t be detailed oriented with step by step instructions on how the mods are done, but more of a insight on what happens once your stick is out of your hands and arrives at my doorsteps.
I’ll be doing mods in my hotel room at the Caesar. I’ll be bringing my Dual Strike SMD boards to use for 360->PS3 dual mods. I’ll also bring MCs+RJ45 jacks to do the detachable multi console mod. I’ll also have some 360 pcbs for PS3->360.
If some type of stick malfunction happens and it needs to get fixed I’ll also be able to help fix it. Just bare in mind that I’ll likely be busy so if you could help out by opening up the stick yourself (I’ll have the tools to do so) before I take a look that would make things easier. I generally don’t charge anything for fixes if its something simple, but getting me a Guinness wouldn’t be a bad idea
Ok, so I was going to put an MC+RJ45 in my TE, and I ordered all the stuff, and now I’ve decided it’s way over my head. If I were to have you do the mod for me, how much would it cost if I also sent the neutrik RJ-45 feed through, the MC Cthulhu, and the Imp board?
How much do you charge to repair dual-mods? My MK is dropping inputs every now and then and would like it fixed. Also, can you try and fix my up direction? It suddenly stopped working. Also, how much to upgrade to MC cthulu from a regular Cthulu/360 wiring?
As a heads up, I’ll be gone from july 6th-14th for EVO. I’ll still be able to be contacted through aim, email, and srk pm’s, but it will be best to wait until after evo to ship any sticks to get modded.
Ya I wish we could of chilled during evo to do some tech talk, but I guess that will have to wait til SB5. I’ll be sure to bring my Vsmile. I think I’ll even swap out the cthulhu in mine with a dual strike smd board. That way I can program it to invert the joystick when I rotate it
Hey Gummowned, have you shipped a TE to Canada before? Do you know roughly how much it is? I might have a project for you if the cost doesn’t set me back too much.
I’ve never shipped anything that big to Canada before. Best to remove the top and bottom panels of the TE to reduce as much weight as possible if going to be shipping to canada. What kinda project did you have in mind?
I have a sfac stick and I was wanting to make it work for ps3/360 while keeping the ps2/xbox. Mainly ps2 since I play alpha anthology and 3s alot. What would that consist of and how much would you charge?
