Guilty Gear XX Accent Core PLUS R: New update for GGXX! coming to Arcade, PSN, XBLA and now Vita!

Seriously, wtf is going on with this update? I’m so annoyed. Arcsys has been so random and vague with updates regarding its console release to the point that I almost feel as though they don’t care or are going to cancel it. It’s been over a year now. Sorry to be so whiney about this but its the only new FG I’ve been looking forward to for the past year. The netcode better be perfect this time.

Because they are implementing GGPO obviously.

…Let me dream ;(

was seeing this posted on twitter, new tier list?

Sad Venom’s so low.

Eddie tier

Low in +R equals “If you don’t see a tier list you have no idea who’s better than who in this game”

Yeah, that’s true. I get into the Capcom mindset too quickly.
GG’s always been balanced…
Honestly though, it’s been pretty balanced compared against the rest since #R when I first played GG, post the PSX game. Dat Slayer infinite. lol

Haven’t seen a change list yet, so I don’t know what caused some of these placements, but I have to ask…
How did Faust get that high? I know Slayer, Eddie, Testament, and Venom were going to eat some nerfs, but I thought Faust was pretty good where he was. (FAIR, not broken)

Faust got the right buffs since the beginning of AC+R and didn’t get many changes on the last update.

BTW, i am still happy to see that Chipp is considered strong  , that and how well balanced the game is, i wouldn’t have said that, usually when i see the people on the B tier i don’t feel that they are the “bottom” tier of the game (well everyone besides JU), they seem strong when fighting against the tops like if there is no difference between them

I need ACR in my life

Any tips on jump installs?

Good advices are case specific.

What kind of jump installs?

Spoiler

It’s mostly just pressing up in a jump-able state and going into a different move before the jump happens. The combo I learned how to do it was c.S>8>f.S >lvl 3 236S>sjc.H>j.D>dj.H>dj.D with order sol. You press 8 after the c.S so the same registers the jump and press S again immediately after so you never actually jump. It’s easy to do since Arc wanted it to be an actual mechanic after GGX.

You can also do it from single moves, either at complete neutral or within a combo after a jump-cancleable normal. This tends to involve adding a form of an up input to the move. I-no’s chemical love, 632146, puts her into an aerial state when FRC’d. You don’t have jump options from this, so jump install is a must for her decent combos. While the input can differ I’ll just write it as adding an up after the last input. 6321469K, if done fast enough, will make the game think you’ve jumped with the move coming out before you actually do jump. Doing this at neutral or after a normal like 5H will give you jump install and stuff.

Another way to do it is from a normal jump, without utilizing the other jump options. So landing from a jump, without using a double jump or an air dash, and acting immediately upon landing will allow you to keep those options…assuming you don’t leave a technical neutral state. So like…as an example…I guess…with Slayer doing 2D RC>5H>j.H>j.K>land>5H>sj.H>j.K>dj.K would work. Doesn’t have to be with a combo wither, can just be from jumping forward and instantly doing a move within the first few frames of landing.

That’s a bunch of shit you don’t really need to read. An example of what you’re trying to do would be helpful. The rules are pretty much pressing up to jump and a jumpable state, and canceling into a move before the jump happens.

Ah, well i play Order Sol so I’d be doing close 5S>JI>5HS.

*Missed this post.

Thanks.

Yay the Faust guide is out!

Does Faust’s unblockable work when the opponent is in block stun already? I’m starting to see the potential in meteors…
