Hoping everyone gets new themes honestly. I mean dont get me wrong i like them a lot, but i would like new tunes to rock out to honestly.
I agree, it kinda like what the new Killer Instinct did. Nothing wrong with making all new themes, all they have to do is 1- suit the character and 2- sounds badass. And I think ol’ Ishiwatari can accomplish both those things easily.
Of course, I wouldn’t in any way object to remixes as well…

Pretty sure SF4 had remixes of the same themes people have been hearing for longer than 10 years and most people thought that was a good idea, so you’re probably in a minority.

I wouldn’t mind if they gave Millia a new theme. I can still listen to it whenever. I just think some people will be pretty upset if they never hear Holy Orders in this game.
Maybe I’m in the minority but I hate most of the remixed SF4 themes and if they’re going to remix themes, at least remix lesser used ones…
But anyways, if it means anything, I’m pretty sure I heard a new version of Keep Yourself Alive in the loktests.

Having nonbipedal character is a great way to push your 3d animation skills as it has to have a different skeleton than the cast.
What does the “playable cast all resembling humans” have in relation to your proposition that “everyone” (playable cast having no mention whatsoever) had a human appearance?
And the relevance of the “world of GG” had in regards to “Guilty Gear was good for not having all these creature characters” is pertinent because he’s trying to show that your proposition that “Guilty Gear was good for not having all these creature characters” is itself a questionable premise. If one were to dig deeper into the lore of Guilty Gear, it would show that the idea, “not having all these creature characters,” is unproved and not supportable. Thus, it would make your statement false and ignorant.

YYB Dodging points as usual. Plus Paradigm was already playable in a GG game. GG having weird characters is part of the charm and seeing a character like Paradigm or Leopolden in 3D would be amazing.
And there you go splitting hairs. Nobody said anything about Overture or GG2. It was pretty obvious what I meant when I said it. There are no dinosaurs or bears or birds or dogs or dragons etc etc. It gave GG a flavor that stood out more and stayed more realistic within the constructs of the game. An animal with a fighters instinct entering a tournament is even far fetched for videogame standards at time.
But hey if they want animal characters in the game there will be animal characters in the game. And if I dont really like it I’m sure there will be a million people like who who make it their mission to tell me how I feel is somehow not okay.
