Itās been discussed. I have two theories, one kinda fantasy design reason and one probably more practical reason. Either they never switch sides because they wanted the āin gameā fight to match the sides of the cutscenes, or they simply havenāt programmed the models to flip/mirror when they switch sides, so they just didnāt bother.
Thereās also Phantom Breaker AC and UNIB, but yeahā¦none of those games could be described as true benchmarks for the hardware.
I wouldnāt be surprised if part of the deal involving ASW getting the Guilty Gear license back was the guarantee that any and all arcade versions of GG would be on Segaās hardware. Itās the only reason I could surmise ASW willingly publishing those games on RE2, when Type X2 and NESiCA have been doing so well for them otherwise.
The way that Segaās arcade hardware is clearly the less popular choice compared to Taito and NESiCA, Sega needed all the help they can get.
IIRC, the R2 specs vary from game to game, the theorical maximum of ram that i remember was 8gb, ddr3 (not sure about this one), i forgot what was the processor specs that i read
8GB sounds about right as, from experience, that it the limit on some motherboards out there. Processor could honestly be anything depending on the socket they use for the CPU (Iām guessing LGA 1156).
Iāve been playing some AC+ in anticipation for this game lately. I wanted to play as Sol Badguy but I canāt get the Gun Flame FRC almost at all. I can get other FRCs like Kyās grab FRC but for some reason the Gun Flame one will come out only once every 10 attempts. Iāve playing using the PS2 version on a HDTV but I have component cables so Iām not sure if there is input lag.
Right now Iām using Millia. Combos are easy enough and I can get the midscreen one really consistently. Now I just have to work on those sexy corner relaunch combos.
I hope they hurry up and show Brigette. My first game from the series was Guilty Gear Isuka and his fighting style looked really cool. Bridget made fighting with toys look so badass.
Well, first youāre going to have to figure if you have display lag or not. Second, the PS2 version runs at the incorrect speed, so when you go over to the 360/PS3 version, youāre just going to have to learn it all over again.
i never knew that. iāve been practicing my PS2 AC+ ever since the Xrd trailer since I was holding off on getting the 360 or PSN version until +R comes out.
how big of a difference is it? and are both PS2 AC and AC+ off? or just AC+?
