Maybe I’m just overthinking this but, I’ve noticed ASW still hasn’t released a console version opening like they did for the arcades.
Because if Sin and Elphelt were truly the last characters, don’t you think they’d show us the new opening?

Latest Bururaji is about Guilty Gear Xrd again (Giruraji)
Guest actor/actress this time are Takeshi Kusao (Ky Kiske) and Megumi Han (Ramlethal)
Somewhere in the middle they show the opening cutscene of the game that takes place right after the end of the Arcade ending scene. Leo contacts Ky and they end up deploying Elphelt to intercept Ramlethal.
There are some silly stuff that happens like when Tomokazu Sugita (Ragna) asks Kusao if he likes briefs or trunks (boxers), Kusao replies with trunks (because he’s also Trunk’s voice actor in DBZ.) Then there is other stuff like how they make puns/references to how Megumi voices Gon from Hunter x Hunter, and that’s she’s pretty young and grew up with Hunter x Hunter and Guilty Gear in her youth (from what I can gather since I’m not fluent in Japanese yet.)
Asami Imai (Tsubaki) was absent this time around and the ending segment after the credits was done by Kusao instead. Pretty fun stuff all around. It’s interesting hearing Ky’s actor speak outside of acting as Ky, and he still sounds youthful although almost being 49 years old. It trips me out that Megumi Han is only 2 years older than me as she’s 25.
Leo confirmed for DLC.

Oooooooooooh lord he’s gonna be a boxer. Oh man, I wanted to play him before but he’s basically a guaranteed main now.
At first glance i thought he was going to be a Slayer clone…Until i saw that huge sword.
Outfit wise he looks like a combination of Sol and May. I can’t be only one that sees this. Lol.
Aesthetically cool character, look forward to seeing how he will play.
I hope he combines those swords at the handle and turns them into a pair of scissors to clip Ky’s ponytail.
Leo aside anybody else excited at the prospects of the other information that was released?
PS4 version integrates with a ‘tournament scene support’ phone app. It basically sounds like a mobile challonge app but will send notifications for when your match is going to start. This is something that people have wanted for years but has never been implemented til now. Not sure if the phone app is going to be released in North America or what smart phones it supports but I’m totally down for Arc Sys paving the way yet again.

Searched for a while on forum but couldn’t find any better topic than this one. Does anyone know/can share with me some good quality May combo videos (on youtube everything is horribly pixelated)? Just today I finished my May’s Theme cover with classical instruments and need some video. I usually do gameplays for my covers myself but this time I need some other source. I love 2D fighting games but don’t have any friends that like them as much as I do so usually play vs computer which equals pitiful skill level.
From the way he’s holding the weapon on his shoulder and their designs, it seems like he’s going to be a dual-wielder rather than a boxer. Or maybe one cross is used as a sword and the other a shield or gauntlet.
I can’t tell in what way he is holding the cross that is in his left hand.
Expect lots of silly spinning attacks.

The app will support iPhone 4 and up and Android 4.0 and up. Hopefully it does get released in the west. The game is coming just a week after the Japanese release.
