^^ Why 2 copies?
Heās doing his part in supporting Arc Sys and good games. I can respect that.

Oh boy, game streaming+input streaming. Thatās not gonna kill your shit tier american connection at all! Youāll only be experiencing maybe 10-15 frames of delay, but still perfectly playable!
Hey man, iām sure thereās a few people that would like to try out Xrd for themselves. Input lag and all.
The newest iteration of the RAP for PS4/PS3 is out already here in the states w/Hayabusa stick and Kuro buttons.
Also, is anyone considering importing the Japanese version, or is everyone gonna wait until the 16th for the US version??
US release is just one week later. The extra wait wonāt kill me. If I wanted the 6 button pad I would import but Iām good with the DS4.

I really wish the PS4 fightstick was out. But I guess Iāll just have to deal.

I want both, but Iāll probably end up with the US Limited Edition and a TE2 if I can get my SO onboard.

Guilty Gear looks cool and Iāll most likely buy the European release once it comes out, but Iām still sceptical on how much of a community this game will gather, especially seeing how it seems to be exactly the same as the previous games which arenāt all that popular in the Western world.
I hope for the best.
Maybe some of you guys can share some insights on the GG community and what you expect the game to be on a tournament scale. This is an interesting point. IMO, the console release of Xrd might well finally be GGās time to shine. Multiple/too many releases in the past, bad timing, IP issues and perceived difficulty level etc have conspired to confine GG to niche status.
With the Xrd reboot, after the initial hype/uptake we might well see GG take its rightful place at the top of the Arcsys stable (rest in peace BB, lest we forget)⦠it still seems to draw a crowd at my local gesenā¦
But then again, once the hype dies down it might become just another (admittedly well designed, deep and fun) anime fighter in the Arcsys lineup.
Iām curious to see how Arcsys will maintain hype levels, market visibility and presence post-console release.
Finally, while a retail update/release is highly likely (twelve months down the line) - it is interesting to see how Arcys are going about balancing and updating the BB franchise post CP. Hopefully Xrd will take this route.
I dont know about that. Eg compare Guilty Gear X multiplatform release (DC, PC, PS2), GG XX# Reload (PS2, PC, XBOX, PSP), even GG AC+ (PS2, Wii, PSP, PS3-Xbox360 re-release)
all this at the peak of the series popularity
but now we have only PS3/PS4. Not even a hint for a PC release, let alone XB1. The statement that Arcsys would consider a PC port if their current Steam titles sell well, is out of touch with reality.

Anime players play fighters on Sony consoles. Thatās pure and simply how it is and why ASW has justified not releasing it on other platforms. Because thereās no point, the bulk of the sales are going to come from Sony anyways, why even bother with other platforms.
Additionally, if Killer Instinct can have any sort of scene on one platform, I donāt see why Guilty Gear canāt.

Is that Chusan playing as Sin?
Not gonna lie, Iām interested in playing Sin. Like his range and combos.

I agree. The eating mechanic is a bit of a turn off though.
Well it limits how many times you can cancel into special moves, would probably be a little silly if everything freely canceled into everythingā¦forever. Besides, you can cancel into eating at the end of strings as well, so you should always have food meter.
Sin is looking like the type of character I like playing. Iāll need a sub since Baiken isnāt in.

It just doesnāt look as cool as Order-Solās manual/action charge. Sinās outfit is rather silly as well. But his range and combos are looking great.

But even at peak popularity, GG was always pretty niche. Plus online was in its infancy back then too. The American (European, too?) arcade scene diedā¦
Now we take online for granted, the Xrd brand has been well established in the local arcade scene and the GG franchise has acquired a mythology/mystique⦠Just hoping this shit blows up in the best possible way!
