Some of my worries are being cleared but I still agree with Elven Shadow that Danger Time is not needed as a mechanic even if it rarely happens All the mor reason to get rid of it if it doesnât happen that often and damage looks a bit to high right now with things barely being optimized.

Actually Tag Assaults slow the game down and pop the opposing player really high up into the air so you can see them and react to them so they do throw you a few bones here and there.

Kind sir, my point was nothing actually stops the pace of the match in tekken, a Tag Assult just slows down the ground bounce to give you visual cue of a character change, again, not even close to a super animation screen freeze.
Who compared Xfactor and Danger Time? My point was you cant use a location tests as some sort of proof that there is a rarity of occurrence. NOBODY used xfactor at the fight clubs and the logic used here was Danger Time âbarely happenedâ, of course its going to barely happen people dont know how to play the game yet.
And Danger Time isnt random, its a heavy attack clash mechanic.
You compared the use of x-factor to a clash mechanic. He was pointing out they arenât comparable because X-factor is completely in control of the player whereas Danger Time requires your opponent to press a specific button in a small window when you press yours. I agree Location Tests arenât shit for learning how a game WILL be, but scrubby play is likely the one youâll see the most hard slash mashed so if it doesnât happen a lot there I canât imagine it being more common. Other then the weird freeze not really a big deal, but iâm more worried about how some of that damage looks at this stage and what the character situation will be on console ⌠hell even a console release date would be nice ⌠Also console exclusive characters. As a whole i donât see too much to hate and anything without having your hands on it yourself is likely unfounded bullshit.
Honestly I donât like the Danger Time slow down or the RC float / freeze that happens. Iâve only seen like one vid of a guy who didnât drop shit because after the RC the character just kinda floated away and causing the guy to fuckup his followup. Weâll have real comboâs eventually so no big deal but it looks awkward.

Danger Time was changed like 2 local tests ago to happen at random, even when is a rare sight, that only makes a shittier mechanic even shittier.
You have this random event that pops up and disrupts the flow of the game for like 3 fucking seconds, it seems like they are really sttuborn on keeping that shit on the game while not knowing what to do with it.
In the Ky vs. May video, it starts when they both clashed heavy attacks. Also while rewatching that video, the screen flash isnât nearly long enough to warrant all this hate, especially since the action starts as soon as it says DANGER.

It happens randomly after a clash, not every clash will trigger, are you happy now?
And it doesnât matter if is 1 second or 3, it disrupts the flow, GG is a game with a great pace, all this crap of slowdowns, BS and danger time will only ruin it in the long run.
