ST is good. The other SFâs are, umm, weird. And maybe most all agree that ST is good only because the SF2 series was able to be itself without being compared to a previous kind of SF. (also being genre defining)
Anyways, the speed of Xrd looks fine in all the vids I see. Maybe you all forgot how âslowâ GG really is, because of the messed up speed in all the AC/AC+R ports. Like if you got an AC arcade cab, play it side by side with one of the console ports. Like, I am so glad for Xrd, even if it turns out to be a turd, if just to be done with these shitty ports.
Blitz Shield being broke? Donât care. At least everyone has it, instead of chars getting screwed because there were no good animations to steal from their EX versions to use as Force Breaks.
Everyone thats like âim fine with danger timeâ makes me LOL. Guilty Gear was never a game where there were long breaks in the action, the fact that roman cancels have a visual que that increase the ability to react to any type of x-factor esque mixup and another mechanic that literally freezes the screen for secondsâŚIâm getting the awful impression that a lot of new or casual guilty gear players are implying theres no foul here when in actuality there could really be an issue down the line.
You gonna do a system mechanic tutorial when this game hits the USA? I know thatâs a way off but they are super informative and would help loads of new players pick it up.
Well now I really wanna know. Are people bitching because danger time startup is a few seconds, or because of the mechanic itself, which, going off Labanâs description, doesnât seem bad at all.
I disagree. While SF2 series had its share of problems, it nailed 90% of what I think an SF game should be based about. All the later incarnations were based around gimmicks instead.
Not touching it until JP explores it in depth first. I got more important videos to make.
From the vid from the lokitest the other day, that was a good 2 seconds of frozen screenâŚit looked annoying.
And since it comes from clashing heavy attacksâŚshit i dunno. Iâm just saying, it could be really annoying the screen freeze feels a little long so shorten it up and we all good.
At the time super sf2 (not turbo) came out, it received a lot of hate for taking the turbo out, slowing the game a lot. So people continued playing sf 2 dash/hyper fighting or champion edition. When ST came, the problem was the supers themself (super sf 2 didnât have a super bar and âsupersâ), and a lot of people continued to see champion edition or dash/hyper fighting as the true final version.
And itâs really strange when people agree with Hecatom., but still think he shouldnât say it for âpossibly taking the hype awayââŚ
