Both, works on HDLoader 0.7c patched with no modes enabled. Dunno about the original HDLoader, but I assume so seeing as XX and the PAL & Jap versions of Reload did also.
They both do. Pressing Start brings up a menu to let you switch between Slash, EX, and #R, then hitting right or left on that screen lets you pick Normal or SP.
EDIT: Haven’t actually unlocked Kliff or Justice yet, but I’m digging that Kliff Stage color change from what I can see in that pic. Can’t wait to see Justice’s stage now. I wish they’d changed Boss I-No’s stage too, could’ve made it blue or something.

I’m really digging the new slayer stuff, the fake mappa is awesome, and the chogatsu dandy seems alot better now. With it’s nice high float.
HOS - seems sort of lacking in really high damage stuff, but maybe I just don’t know the combos,
I’m liking the game, and it seems like sticking with Ky since the beginning of the series has finally paid off. Don’t see why some people say he’s top, but he is definitely better in almost everyway. I am having trouble getting good combos off of his new FRC from his throw. I do better with just the regular RC.
HOS could have been good. Very very easy to pick up, but my main problem with HOS is his lack of range. This and the increased Knockback is causing me to whiff with him constantly :annoy:
Anji’s new move from Fuujin (Fuujin HS, I think) is sick. It gives a lot of advantage on block, so Anji can raise the guard meter on the opponent really quickly now. That coupled with the improved Butterfly is annoying. Only thing keeping the move from being broken IMO is the fact that it is slow to come out after the Fuujin, so it isn’t too hard to poke Anji out of it.
There are EX modes. Only did one runthrough on survival and got most of the EX characters (just missing ABA). EX HOS seems a lot like his GG self. You get Cliff on 420 in Survival and Justice on 440. Don’t know about the special colors yet, but if HOS gets an EX, I’m assuming ABA gets one too as well as new colors all around.
HOS gets no SP colors. Sorry.
How the fuck do you unlock diff colors/gold mode/reload mode and stuff? I unfortantly assumed it was beat survival got to level 500 ASSUMED I was done since i started vs characters over again, let myself be killed. Then checked, only to see all i had was fucking EX MODE SHIT? WTF gawd.
It wouldnt be so bad if the colors werent so fucking ugly in this game. Also people talk about capcom/snk being lazy. What about sammy/arc systems? Seriously, 7 fucking years of the same stages and music over and over again, and the same way of unlocking the same old shit OVER AND OVER again. Its pretty ridiculous…
Also I thought dizzy was suppose to have her cpu only super… Maybe I missed it… Ino deffintly does in ex but no dice for dizzy. Also I was hopeing the ex characters would have some of there moves from the beta versions of the game, Lows from dandy for slayer, ground esenga for johnny. No go with that ethier. Pretty disapointing…
Beat Arcade mode for #Reload characters or w/e. =.
Beat Mission Mode with each character. You’ll unlock EX, SP, and Gold. Beat Arcade mode to unlock #R versions.
And I agree, SP colors blow in this game.
Question: While on the topic of SP colors, what exactly are Anji’s SP colors?
It is going to have to suck just using the Pink (still an awesome color though) and his normal. 
Venom finally got a pink. The only one that came close was this ugly green/pink SP color scheme in X2.

I think you’re wrong. I don’t mean to be an ass about it, but when misinformation is posted it has a nasty habit of spreading. For example, people are still mentioning new moves for characters at dustloop.com that aren’t even in Slash at all. And some people still think that Dizzy takes more damage than Chipp does because of a post Poon made many months ago (and then deleted, but it was too late by that point).
does anybody recommend magic swap for this game?

Dizzy was almost top tier in #R. She didn’t necessarily “need” a nerf but oh well.
