I did say that he got better overall. But his play style is virtually unchanged compared to most others in the cast.
And naw dude, Dizzy sux now… Still playable, but definitely got worse in almost every aspect: Her pressure, wake up, damage delivery, taking damage. You play Ky. Lemme cry in peace.
lol what is wrong with you pozer you give me a negatve rep for saying ky is good…bah stop being such a moron ky is really good if you can’t see that you shouldn’t be playing him…pick slayer or jam there both exactly what you need
Ok I got my copy of this yesterday. Here are my impressions after giving about 2 hours to it last night.
ABA: in a proper release is a good thing. She was fun in Isuka but she is great in Slash. She mixes things up pretty good and can be downright brutal.
Holy Order Sol: Very interesting character. I think has some sick ass moves and has potential to be a major contender if learned right. Somehow though regular Sol feels better to play.
Robo Ky: seams to have faster linking in this game. He’s definitely going to keep a spot at the top.
Ky: Holy shit Arc really loves Ky. They gave him everything he ever needed to be top tier and then nerfed the rest of the cast to be sure. If you are playing a good Ky Player as anyone else you are in for a hell of a fight. He’s not completely broken but damn is he close.
Regular Sol: Seams to have been nerfed from #R. Still damn powerful but in an even match I see Ky Dominating him.
Potemkin: Wow just Wow. Pot has become a MAJOR BEAST in this game. First off he got a big speed boost. This definitely helps him out a lot. He still does a ton of damage even on chipping and his defense seams better. His B,F+S still absorbs a hit to strike but the range on it seams to have been increased a bit. Also in the few games I played I could do very well against Ky with him. Pot may be going someplace.
Jam: Speed boost, not a lot of other things to write about. I haven?t messed around with her a lot yet.
Dizzy: Sorry guys Dizzy got a serious nerfing in this game. All of her attacks do a lot less damage and she is getting hurt hard when you chip her. It?s kind of sad really because she always was a lot of fun to play and was a serious contender in #R. However if you are going to win with her now it?s going to be a bigger uphill fight. I guess it?s sort of like how in the Story line she is supposed to be all powerful but in the game play she is not. Sort of like Ryu in Street Fighter I guess. Weird never understood that one.
I haven?t dived into the rest of the cast yet. I?ll post more as I play it more.
Also does anyone know if Kliff and Justice are in this game as well?
I never looked at the changes over there. I kept myself in the dark on Slash so when I played it it would be a fresh experience.
Her attacks seam to come out a little faster than in #R. Also Linking her dragon kick special into her upward kick special seams to come out faster in slash. I was doing some crazy ass juggles with her last night.
But like I said I only had about 2 hours with the game. So I’m probably missing a lot or I’m still a little hyped from the new experiences I’ve had with the game so far.
Are you sure some moves got faster? Because it isn’t mentioned in the Arcadia article, nor is it mentioned in the changes list, and she’s already one of the fastest characters to begin with… (I think in the changes list, only one of her moves, j.S, is mentioned as having a faster startup… by one frame).
i’ve been playin GG for while now but like i never got serious in it, after playin slash man i can’t get off this… and also i’m learning alot of cool things from the boards tho no doubt…
and there you can all listen to me and medicine melancholy (a.k.a. gunflame buri) talk about totally irrelevant stuff like boobs, penis and wet loli panties.
what you should be more worried about is ky’s cse. it’s gonna be a total pain for pocho to deal with.
