My variation. I think this might be the most optimal damaging of the loops:

Edit: Not the most damaging, but from my experience thus far the easiest loop. Easier than S1 loops infact.

CC f+hp > dash > s.hp > c.mp > FK 291 dmg
CC f+hp > dash > s.hp > c.mp > SB > super 462 dmg
CC f+hp > dash > s.mp > c.mp > FK 294 dmg
CC f+hp > dash > s.mp > c.mp > FK > super 486 dmg

Just showing some midscreen CC damages. Looks like s.mp > c.mp > FK is the optimal combo after CC.

I’m curious how ya’ll are doing the s.hp > c.mp > SB > lp break > dash > s.lp > SB. I barely have enough time to charge for lp break > dash > s.lp > s.lp > SB

You use the V-Trigger no charge boom (hp +hk). Use the slow one (holding back).

I’m finding the s.lp x2 one nearly impossible on a pad right now. The one I’m using does about 20 less damage but is much easier, so I’m probably going to stick to that one in the long run.

Yeah, I can see how the version I do is really hard on a pad/joystick. I can’t do the combo on a joystick at all. I have to use the Hitbox.

Im having a hard time doing dash>low jab into boom, is there any trick to it? do I buffer my dash too late?

I bet that is Gief/big body characters only combo.

Then for any of the other combos, substitute cr.lp x2 for - **cr.lp, v skill boom (hp+hk), cr.lp, boom, cr.mp, hp break, mp break, lp break. **

CC d.hp > df.hk > FK > CA does 500 dmg. Might be a good alternative if you know you gonna spend CA to punish.

How are you guys doing s.mp > c.mp > FK? I’m assuming there’s a delay in there somewhere.

Also is there any use for s.lk into special? I can do it…at times, but it takes some mental energy.

s.lk > s.mk chain > link s.lk > hp SB combos on standing opponents and can be used in the loops. Good friggin luck with the motion though. It’s extremely difficult :rofl:

What’s the easiest loop for players with poor execution? Least amount of dashes, etc…

Guiles’ sobat is fucking stupidly good in this game lol. If you thought it was good before well it’s even better now.

I’m going to be the first person to say this - I don’t think loops are that important anymore, especially if you have a super stored. They’ve basically nerfed his corner damage and are saying to you ā€œWanna do 400 in the corner still? Use V-Triggerā€. If you do a basic V-Trigger combo into super, it only does about 50 to 80hp more than just doing st.hp, cr.mp, boom x5 super like you would mid screen. Sure you can do advanced ones and get close to 620 hp for them but there’s also way more chance of dropping it than the bread and butter loop in season one.

First set of booms is Hp > Mp > Lp. Second set is Mp > Hp> Lp. Third is Mp > Lp. Then UDK into back V-Trigger boom (the slow one).

What does everybody think of guiles new crush counter, cr HP? I can’t tell if I like it or not. It makes it so you never have to worry about crush countering with st HP anymore so you can always get that st hp, cr mp, sonic boom/flash kick. But using cr HP has slow start up and a small hit box so it’s not like you can use it for anything other than to punish uppercuts. Even so, backfist is better for crush countering uppercuts because you can get more damage off of it.

It’s not that great after knockdown either because it starts up slow and crush counter only activates if you hit them on the first frames. I’m also pretty disappointed about cr hp crush counter only activates on the first frames if it hits because It would have been awesome to crush counter people in the air and get a juggle combo. I think it would have made opponents think twice about taking a risk jumping in.
