Something I’ve been thinking about:
If guile has a good st.lp AA, potentially possible to get a cross under during the reset and do a UDK to score a CH into combo? This would make his AA reset game on par with Chun’s and just replacing insta air legs with UDK, and doing the whole UDK/throw/meaty mixup. Food for thought
I’ve been under the impression that jabs almost universally work well as AAs in this game, so I would imagine that would work.

Guiles sweep can be VTC but not sure you can follow up with anything. CA would be the only thing with a chance it would seem but that may be tight.
Anyone else salty his sweep doesnt juggle? Just me?
My only real concern is the lack of a 3f normal, is this confirmed? I guess they wanted him to be susceptible to pressure/offense when they get in on him, but it’s still disappointing. The real saving grace is that FK is throw invinc, so at least you don’t need to EX FK or spend a bar all the time.
Here’s hoping UDK has lots active frames. Want some beefy UDK combos.
It looks like one of the worst sweeps to get blocked. I thought it would be more like T.hawk or FANG’s in this game when it came to second hit speed.
Guile may have 4-frame lights, but at least he has the EX FK reversal option some of the other 4-frame characters lack.

I believe its st.mp target combo into fw.hp, so might still work on crouching not sure. I think fw.hp on itself is the only thing that whiffs on crouching. Maybe his dwn-fwd.hk too.
I’m finally feeling complete , I main Guile & not playing him during launch made me worried about not getting comfortable with other characters . Its been a good week

I was just checking the WSO vid. Each SB has the same amount of total frames, 38. This means all SB’s are probably the same startup/recovery which is different than SF4 SB’s where the light SB recovered really quick. He’s had SB with the same total frames in other games before.
Is it “American Coffee” or are they referring to an Americano as his favorite thing?

I think yes. I know Chinese and americano is ‘American style coffee’. I guess it’s just a bad translation. Some of the other character likes seem to have issues like that too.
It reminds me of being on a plane to China and the hostess asked if I wanted Italian noodles. Thats how you say spaghetti in Chinese.
