Eh… I like our current stance on it.
Just sweep the horrible ones under the rug.

Fuckin’ A, dude! I’m getting my copy at midnight, and already have the day after scheduled off lol
Is the release date set in stone? I mean there wasn’t any official confirmation other than they’re pushing for a spring '10 release. That could mean march, april, or even may. Hell, if a delay occurs we can be looking at a June release.
What im trying to say is…Did you really schedule one day off 4-5 months in advance? Eh, either way, i hope you look forward to that day even if the game isn’t released then. Everyone needs relaxation.
I would gladly pay $60 for it.
But yeah, let’s not pretend imbalance issues didn’t exist in SFIV. It is true that it is one of the best balanced fighting games ever, but being a Vega main, I can’t just pretend like the imbalance issue isn’t there.
Damn man.
I read Kotaku.com daily, and there are some serious fools on there in regards to SSFIV announcements.
Don’t even get me started with Joystiq.com.
Everybody wants it for free - saying the new content - balance - online tweaking should have been free, as in FREE DLC.
Man whatever, I got SFIV for my birthday, the day it came out, and feel like I got way more than $60 worth of fun.
It got me back into fighters 100% - got me making sticks and shit.
Me and my boy Aaron play EVERY Saturday. And I play almost every day.
You can fuckin’ BET I’ll drop another $60 on a refined version of the best fighter in YEARS.
Nuff said - everybody bitchin’ can eat it.
With each trailer, along with the $40 price point being thrown around, I’m hearing the argument less and less. Either they’re getting tired of bitching (On my internets? No way!) or they’re starting to rethink their position on whether or not it’s worth the money. The trailers aren’t just getting US hyped, y’know.
People complaining about this, is due to lack of knowledge… They`re just plain ignorant keyboard warriors:tdown:
I would have no complain whatsoever about purchasing the game at full prize…
HEY!
I’m a keyboard warrior. :bluu:
Its funny how dumb people are, its like they dont even know what the hell they are talking about.
Saying it should be dlc, and some say it should be free.
Every year you see games like, Fifa, Smackdown vs Raw, Madden you name it, every year a new version with only a little update in content, mostly names and formations and that kind of crap, BUT for 60 $
Now Capcom is doing a update with at least 8 new characters, new levels, bonuslevels, new ultra’s for every charachter, lots of online modes, balancing a already balanced game, i mean sure its not perfect but far from horrible, and you get free stuff if you already purchased the orginal SFIV and that only for 40 $
Really people dont know what they are talking about, every time i see someone whining about SSFIV i use these lines because it speaks for itself…
Preach!
The trailer has just been released on Gametrailers.
And guess what…
Everyone is crying why the the isnt DLC lol…
And that the game should be $10 dlls DLC… man what the fuck…
It’s like they forget that the people developing Super SF4 needs to eat and feed their families. Fucking ungrateful parasites.
Regardless, anybody who is actually stupid enough to think this is even possible to be DLC isn’t even a fighting game fan and bought SF4 because of the hype.
And seriously, even if this was DLC, they’d have to erase like 5-6 gigs of space on their harddrives to even make room for it.
True that there still are people crying over why this isn’t $10 DLC, but the balance has shifted alot since all the new info was made public.
There has been a steady increase in the ratings on GT vids, the complaining over DLC is alot less and people are basically just asking for characters they wish to see in the game…i.e back to how it was during SF4 announcements.
By the time all the remaining characters, stages, ultras etc announcements are made, the hype for it will simply be too much.
Good job by the Marketing Dept Capcom.
Sports games will always be the same. Includes the same strategies, same rules, so on and so forth. Depth? I don’t think so. It’s just a game.
SSFIV is totally different than a sports game.
I hope not…that wouldn’t give SF4 to come even close to reaching its full potential. People are STILL coming out with 3S tricks. It would be annoyingly soon.
Also, 2012 would mean its currently well under development…no chance. SF3 came out in 1997. 3s, the final installment, came in 1999 and SF4 showed up 9 years later. Hopefully we won’t have to wait THAT long, but lets give the SF4 engine and community a chance to evolve as much as it can, and as much as it deserves.
After reading & hearing more and more about the content of SSF4, I got a feeling that it is going to be full priced. I’ll get it ether way, looks like GT5 gets SRKed in the dome. March =SSF4 and FF13 FTW!
I dunno fanboy . . . if you haven’t been to your local gamestop, i’d suggest you pop in there and check out the folder on upcoming games. It does (if I remember correctly) state $39.99 and also on their website.
That would be wrong of CAPCOM if they suddenly hiked the price.
i pre ordered the game from Amazon for 39.99, they have preorder price guarantee
in my opinion the game is well worth $60. in fact i think it is justifiable to call it Street Fighter 5. the amount of extra content is HUGE.
All I want is Vega/Balrog theme remix.
That would be so boss.
Indeed, the game will likely be money well spent; however, it would be in no way justifiable to call it Street Fighter V. Yes, they are adding a ton of content, but adding more content does not make it an entirely new Street Fighter. If one examines the past history of the game, Street Fighter only changes its number when the sprites/graphics are changed, as well as the game engine.
