R. Mika update has been pushed to Android and iOS. Expect the Android update to hit in an hour or so, and the iOS one as usual has to go through review process.
I also added Normal Throws for everyone, which clarifies which characters have air throws and which don’t.
It’s version 1.3, but the old typos and misinformation still remain.
In Ryu’s “Special Moves” section, “Tatsumaki Senpuukayku” should be “Tatsumaki Senpukyaku.” And change “Air Tatsumaki” to “Air Tatsumaki Senpukyaku” like you did for Ken for consistency.
In Vega’s “Unique Attacks” section, the Matador Blitz target combo is claw OFF only.
In everyone’s “V-Moves” section, change all instances of “meter” into “V-Gauge” to prevent confusion with the Critical Gauge.
In everyone’s “Critical Arts” section, likewise, change “meter” to “Critical Gauge” or “C-Gauge.”
NEW In R. Mika’s “Unique Attacks” section, “Ladi Mika” should be “Lady Mika.”
@General_Awesomo yeah I kind of rushed to get the R. Mika title update out and didn’t make any of those other corrections, but those are very minor in the grand scheme of things (other than Vega’s unique attack) and I’ll look into updating those as well at another time in the near future. The meter thing is really a non-issue because I think it’s pretty understood which meter controls which, but it could help newcomers if it was explicit.
I do appreciate your attention to detail though, you’re like the human spell checker!
Black on dark blue for the normal joystick directions is pretty hard to read on a mobile screen, especially when the arrow doesn’t extend very much past the circle.
My older SF guides use a red circle with a larger arrow. I’ll look into possibly changing them if they are easier to read. I haven’t heard any other complaints about the black on blue in another previous guide that used them, but it could also be that resolutions now are greater making things appear smaller on screen.
Just wanted to let you know I just pushed this update to Android.
I used “V-meter” and “CA-meter” in the app to clarify.
I also added a support button in the prefs page so people know where to go for support or to suggest things. That won’t help many people in here since you already know about the thread, but just let you all know.
As usual, iOS one will be later. After the R. Mika update is reviewed, I’ll submit this one.
Cool. Nice job, except for one thing. I forgot to mention that in Vega’s “V-Moves” section, the description for Matador Turn is a little wrong. To perform the counterattack, you simply hold the buttons, not input them again. So the description should be:
He quickly dodges the opponent’s incoming attack and can launch a quick counterattack by repeating the V-Skill inputs holding the buttons
Updated with Rashid’s info. It should go live on Android within an hour or so, and the iOS one will have to be submitted once this other update is through review, which is hopefully in a day or so.
I was on vacation last week in Aruba so I didn’t get a chance to add Karin’s info, but I’ll be adding it either today or very shortly.
The iOS version was rejected in review process because it crashed at startup on iOS9 (I don’t even have the latest SDK with iOS9 in it so that explains why I didn’t know about this), so I’m going to figure out why and add Karin to that as well so the next iOS update will be a large one.
I updated the Android version with Karin last night.
I have the update ready for iOS however I’m having an issue with layouts on iOS 9 that I’m trying to figure out. On the same iPhone 6, the layout just looks different on iOS 8 vs. iOS 9. I have to figure out what setting is wrong before I can update it.
Finally got around to fixing the layout issue on iOS 9 and just submitted the update. Karin and Rashid are also in that update. Hopefully it will be a quick review since the original binary was rejected.
Cool hope you like it. If anyone sees any Zangief move list around please let me know. I heard they didn’t have a card at the Russian show but maybe when they reveal Laura they will have one for him (and her too) so I can add them.
