Alpha 2 will be ran on the PS2 using the Alpha Anthology. There is just no way to keep a consistent scenario on a laptop/cpu. Another reason is i am not sure if sp00ky is setup to stream from a cpu source. So to eliminate any headaches for him we will be using the PS2. Sorry. Hard to please everyone.
if you can get people to come out, we would have no problem with this. it’s just hard to get people to come out for the older games.

we are just trying something a little different. nobody says or suggest anything so we do what we would think would be fun for everyone. i now see that this is not the case.
the end all is that without feed back we have no idea. call me, email me, hit me up on irc, facebook, CF whatever. we are always open to new ideas. i cannot read minds though.

This isn’t a major, it’s a bi-weekly. You should really keep the game(s) being played set in stone. Super is obviously one of those games, and you could possibly do a second game.
If you’re going to include a second game then you’re going to have to cap Super. If people don’t like it, tough shit.
If you’re not doing a second game (which you don’t have to) then no cap for Super.
3S tournaments can be held at CF, no one actually plays Alpha 2 anymore, TvC is lifeless, and HDR is just as dead. If I were to include a second game I’d make it Melty or Tekken 6.

Tek 6 is just as dead as the others. SF4 killed everything when it introduced easy inputs and safe invincible moves that lead to huge damage always giving the player the feeling that they can win. The masses ate that shit up with everyone thinking they’re better than they really are. Goodbye zoning. Hello thoughtless and care free attacking.

yeah all other fighting games died off when vanilla came out. only game that will have a turn out like super is when marvel 3 comes out. i think we should get alpha 2 for a buck like at road to evo 2. that shit was hype compared to the other side games lol.
i really think hd remix should be included instead of alpha. even if you never played hd remix, chances are you will do better in that than you do in alpha 2.

I’ll break it down like this. Our main goal for this series was to get people to level up and have a good time. That’s why we kept it cheap and wanted to bring different games to the table. This way you can break away from the grind of SF4 and have a little fun. But what i am getting now is that people just want MORE SF4. Is this really what people want? Because this is exactly what we will give you from here on in.
We are also not bias to any game. But Melty only got 8, maybe 9 entries if i recall correctly. So unless this turnout increases we will do Melty at every OTHER event. But it will definitely be at every other event without question.
