I’m fairly certain we’re using Alpha Anthology with the correct dipswitches. I know about stage lag on GGPO, but does it lag on console too? I would try it out, but I don’t have a modded ps2 at the moment. Either way, the grass stage needs to be avoided.

Characters locked throughout the entire tourney. Same character teams are not allowed. Ryu + Evil Ryu or Sim + ST Sim are technically different characters, so these teams would be legal.
Evil Ryu and Alternate Dhalsim are allowed.
Grass stage is banned and some stages are pending. Ryu’s and Gen’s stages are encouraged. Rolento’s and Charlie’s stages are discouraged.
We will be using SFAA on PS2, so bring your PS2 stick if you have one.

Stage lag, it sucks. Basically certain stages lag during super or cc. Super isnt a big deal but custom combos are. The following Stages have severe stage lag:
Birdie
Rolento
Moderate:
Chun-Li
Sodom
The other stages are pretty good, but Best stage seem to be Ryu and Gens since there isn’t anything going on in the stage.
Stage select:
Press start on the characters portrait before you select your character.
Special Stages:
Hold start on Bison or Sagat, and continue to hold start and pick your character.

every other stage is good so as long as u dont pik those 4 its all good.emulated sfa2 is the best version out there not coutin arcade of course lol. and ana in the original a2 u cant pik ST chars. thats a2gold. and grass stage on ggpo is lag free. i would def advise we play a2 on offline ggpo.if its ps2 sfaa i wont be able to play bc i play a2 on Saturn pad :/. and unless i can find a ps2 saturn pad im pretty much fucked lol. or we can just use both lols. but anyways if any1 needs help on there char (most damaging cc combo bnbs) anything just let me know ill give u all the info u want

I know the grass stage isn’t that bad, but it just looks so ugly and it’s just as bad as the table in Chun’s 3S stage.
I’d prefer to run it on FBA too, but it’s ultimately up to the TOs. The fact that it might not always be at a constant 60 fps if it’s emulated is also something to take into consideration.
im pretty sure if we all agree to run it on fba they will have it. just need a few laptops and were good to go. a2 HAS TO BE STREAMED. this game is to hype.ppl better get on that ggpo and start practicing!
