New gameplay video…
The gameplay trailer blew me away. For the most part, i save my excitement for actual in-game stuff, so i can release it now. this game looks to be pretty epic and entertaining.

I almost forgot about GTA5 due to Watch Dogs stealing its thunder, but that gameplay trailer pulled me right back in. Well done, Rockstar
The frustrating part about this game coming out is that the reviews won’t help gauge if the game is worth buying or not. They’re going to gush over it and slap 9.9s and 10s all over it like they did IV.
(Yes, video game reviews matter to me.)
Gta4 was awesome to me, I would have have or a 10 or 9 as well.
Also reviews are opinions, they are worth as much as any of your friends opinions on a game.
I just hope they put more thought into the multiplayer this time.
I’m perfectly aware that reviews are subjective. My opinions are generally in line with those of reviewers. Once in a great while, I enjoy games that receive lackluster reviews. More commonly (though still infrequently), I don’t enjoy games that get stellar reviews.
I imagine this to be true of most people. We sure do put a lot of stock in those opinions.

When it showed the Multiplayer for a few seconds, holy shit.
Rockstar is not going to disappoint.
I mean, you know what to expect after GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas, IV, Ballad of Gay Tony, etc
Personally, I can’t stand the main stories… I did go back and force myself to beat Vice City and San Andreas, but I couldn’t bring myself to beat 4. Too many shitty missions. I hadn’t played the game in a long time, so I booted it up and took a mission. Drive 5 minutes over here to pick up this guy. Ok. Now drive me 5 more minutes the other way to the location. Ok. Oh shit we’re ambushed, get into a gun fight! Oh, you died.
Respawn. Restart mission.
Drive 5 minutes back to pick up the guy again… nope. Shut it off.
Thats the reason I will never finish GTAIV.
However, the sandbox is whats fun. Since I’m from LA, I loved the LA setting the most, San Andreas was by far my favorite GTA to date. Even if the story mode didn’t exist, I’d still be picking up this game.
So in this particular case, waiting for reviews on a game that you know what to expect seems silly. It’s either your type of game, or it’s not, at this point.
So I wasnt the only person who thought 4 was great but very boring. It just didnt suck me in.
And there looks to be a shitload of stuff to do in 5 as well, I get overwhelmed when I’m not streamlined and then I completely give up lol
If I wasn’t clear, I’m not waiting I reviews to drop for GTAV because I won’t be able to place any stock in them. GTAIV was a huge step back in the series, IMO. The game was limited in regards to what was possible in San Andreas, and it wasn’t fun like 3,VC, and the aforementioned SA.
GTA IS my type of game. I loved the 3 games that preceded it, I loved SR2 and 3rd, and RDR is among my favorite games of all time.
Even Hideo Kojima was blown away by the trailer.

I don’t think our “V” can reach that level. Rockstar’s team are the best. W/o question they will pull up the possibility of game.

The saddest part is that this era and PS2 era won’t be connected (officially). R* got this one. The combat seems to be improved. And I guarantee the script alone can shit on another AAA dev studio’s entire catalogue.
Well i wouldn’t say it was great, i’d say average, but yeah i also found it really dull, but also everything was a really hassle from controls, especially with the phone, to my biggest issue with the game the driving.
Driving was probably one of the things i really enjoyed in gta the most, in 4 it felt like a chore, the thing i did like was the actual physics, vehicles felt like they had weight and stuff, possibly im contradicting myself.
I felt the handling was a bit to realistic, but i feel that if maybe the map was more open like in gta SA it’s possible i’d have enjoyed driving alot more, i felt the driving in 4 was cumbersome and generally annoying
this looks like this has been sorted in 5, some people say the driving looks too floaty though, i dunno, there has to be a happy medium, i know this it looks alot faster, even the planes look fast now
I loved GTA4. It’s the only one I finished. Not to say that the other ones were bad, but it kept my attention.

That one lady in the pink shirt at the beginning is really fucking annoying. i also found it ironic that the ad at the bottom of the video was for Saints Row 4 lol
