Damn, that was my favorite part of Saints’ Row the Third.
By what they’ve said about multiplayer it may be better than co op campaign 
what did you think about ballad of gay tony… i thought the mission in that were better than nico’s missions (not all)…

I actually never played Ballad. Heard good things about it but that wasn’t enough for me to pick up a game that I’d already put down.
I hope they strike a balance between the seriousness of IV and the ridiculousness of the older ones. Actually really liked how serious IV was and Niko is still my favorite protag.

CJ <— sure it has some ‘silly moments’ but his story went far and deep. i mean you worked him over three cities let along his cast was on point

I really hope the game play in terms of combat is smooth like sleeping dogs, shit who am I kidding it doesn’t matter games already paid for lol.
I’ll be jacking shit and causing mayhem anyway. prolly wont have the story complete for awhile.
With the mutiplayer and online I always wanted specific roles you could play. Like yep sure go all out just doing crazy shit but I really wanted to log on and just be a fed, swat, a cab driver etc.
I hop on you’re playing your game online you get 5 stars and you pop up on my in game map. Then i go get yo ass lol. I try to kill you you try to get away from me or kill me. I’d do that all day everyday like it was my real job.
This game really looks like the best of a bunch of other GTA titles, with Franklin being similar to SA, Michael being similar to Vice City and Trevor being in a sorta 3-ish area.
Needless to say: hella fucking hype.

Wow, those trailers look pretty amazing. But how man times has a game or movie lived up to its trailer? That being said, I think this game will be amazing. I really dig the dynamic character model chosen by R* in this iteration. GTA’s characters are usually a reflection of the city/locale and I think they really captured them pretty well in this game. Can’t speak much for gang violence, backwoods SoCal, or affluent hills but I can say that I’m going to go pre-order this…
I came to really enjoy Trevor and Michael’s characters more. I feel like since R* hasn’t really explored characters of their type as leads I wasn’t sure if they’d be interesting or not… So far, definitely impressed.
I feel like this is the San Andreas Stories we never received.

I really liked the local Co-Op free roam in San Andreas. I played GTA IV once and I couldn’t finish it. The game just bored me. Did IV ever have that local Co-op free roam or was it strictly online?

Local co-op would be awesome if it returned. I really enjoyed it in SA and was disappointed at the lack of it in IV. Being black, the trailer for Franklin was just awesome. May be remnants of the hip hop era of the 90’s still but man, it feels good to be a gangsta.
I never beat San Andreas… time to drop some bread on a copy and blow through it before GTA5 drops.
