am worried about v rock/ rock station in this one. I always have that station blaring as i do my thing, only prob is rock music in general for the past 10 years has been shit so am paranoid as hell about it :s

Another thing I forgot to mention/think of… can’t wait to see how they do the soundtrack. Cause San Andreas had the best GTA soundtrack out of the series IMO just cause it had history-links within itself.
The Cast I think won’t have any famous celebrities.
I prefer III’s mainly since it was underground+Scarface soundtrack. And San Andreas had a country station, I avoided that shit like kryptonite. Opera >>>>> country

It’s a shame though, the GTA: SA cast was ridiculously good. R* hasn’t released the cast list but it’s not surprising no one famous is playing the main characters. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s someone famous playing a villain or something… But then again, it’ll probably take me a while to get to any villainy because I’ll probably be too busy driving dirt bikes.

Don’t really need it… The lead on SA was an upcoming rapper. Yeah they find celebs to do voices but they have to cover a HUGE cast so they tend to find excellent voice actors/actresses thats done cartoons, other video games, or even some b list actors/actresses that are still on the come up…
The idea of online GTA just doesn’t interest me, though the world looks so amazing I can’t wait to experience it in single player.
San Andreas was always my favorite game, I hope they actually include Long Beach this time around

You’re actually probably right, I looked at some screenshot/videos of the area, and It’s probably trying to emulate long beach, but I’m not sure if it REALLY is meant to be long beach. It’s right near mullholland drive, which is supposedly Santa Monica Blvd, which is nowhere near long beach location wise. It also has that weird bridge thing over the street, which is something you see on PCH and Santa Monica Blvd up near Santa Monica itself
We do have a skybridge thing down here as well, it’s just not as iconic as the ones in santa monica are
We do have the Sports Arena there, which looks like it’s supposed to be the Forum in San Andreas
So all in all, it seems like it’s probably just kind of a mashup. Since there was no loading docks, no queen mary, and the size was really small, I never really even considered East Beach Long Beach, but it makes sense that it would be
edit: I see the wiki also mentions the Forum is probably the LA Forum, which is also not near long beach at all, and closer to Santa Monica. Namewise its like the Forum, location/looks wise it might be the sports arena.
It seems they gave Long Beach a location, but didn’t try to capture any of iconic looks/size and just made is a small side area representing the poorer part of LA (which also is kind of silly, as even though it has its bad spots, it’s probably nicer than most of actual LA (except the rich areas) and borders Orange County, which again is fairly rich). I want a fully fleshed out Long Beach, with car thefts being delivered to the port (like gone in 60 seconds), oil fields drilling everywhere (like the graveyard scene in Fast and Furious), Queen Mary Theft (like Arrested Development lol), long beach airport, Skylinks golf course, etc. It always sucked playing a game set around place you’ve lived your whole life but not having your actual neck of the woods represented properly
Looked like it but probably someone else… at that rate I am waiting to see Ryder (the eazy e lookin guy) and CJ bro n sis. Hell I am waitin to see how the new kid is part of the grove st. The online looks fun an hype but I see SRK will need to form the posse/crews again cause I can see this being a troll fest when it goes live…
Pimp Willy… yeah when I played the old one I was knee deep in it an looked for spots all around. I noticed they mashed together some areas just to make sure everywhere got some type of rep (East Los Santos)… i mean san fierro itself got mashed up pretty good… yet remember that was the biggest map out of the franchise. If you played LA Noire an saw how they detailed areas I think the LBC will get some good rep in it just not that much but larger than the older one…
Im hoping if the map an detail is that deep the DLC could be the other two area Los Venturas an San Fierro since I see they went further with the outlining areas where CJ got kidnapped to.
The 8 gig install might be a problem… I have an old console with 20 gb hard drive, most of which is filled with Rockband DLC, guess I’ll have to invest in a flash drive for the 360

Recently finished a playthrough of the lost and the damned, cant wait for GTAV to finally hit, easily GOTY for the next 4 years
