I just had an email from Gremlin to say that my order has been dispatched, despite me not having paid the full amount owed to them (I added some stuff to my order after payment).
Great service (assuming it gets here ok - I’ll post when it does).
I ordered on the 8th of April, but I am not too impatient.
All your points are valid, but the only thing that bugs me is the lack of comunication on their behalf.
I ordered parts my Sanwa parts on monday. I didn’t get an order confirmation so i sent them an email. Got a reply within half hour to confirm the order i’d placed.
Received an email yesterday to tell me my parts had been dispatched first class recorded delivery and received the parcel this morning.
Really good service considering how busy they must be right now. I’d definately use these guys again.
humm… Its really strange how random the store seems to reply to mail. I already sent 2 e-mails and i didnt get any response from them.
Im really confused about their customer service. Some people say they are busy, others get e-mail responses in half an hour window:wtf:.
We dont have any store PR from gremlin here on the forums right?

I sent two emails (1st one order, 2nd one correction) two days ago. Maybe others are emailing a different address? sales@gremlinsolutions.co.uk is what I used. Or maybe they’re using the ‘contact us’ link on the site to send the email?
Out of curiousity did you attach an order form (that .xls spreadsheet they have on their site) to those emails you sent or just send them text? I sent them a text order as they instructed to do if you’re on a computer without Excel. Maybe they respond faster when they see the file attachment with order form
I received an email from them a yesterday with a tracking number, telling me tha my order has been despatched and should be with me soon - first class recorded delivery.
I came home tonight from work, checked the tracking number on Royal Mail’s site and it told me my delivery had been accepted in Morecambe! I live in Swansea.

I thought it was a bit strange i didnt receive it today as it was supposed to have been sent the day before 1st class. wtf is going on?!

I sent the email to the address on the ‘contact us’ page on their website. It was just a standard text file i sent them. Just said something along the lines of: ‘I’ve placed an order with you and am yet to receive confirmation of my order.’
Within an hour i had a reply telling me it would be dispatched within the next 4 days.
Nicotine/ Kircough, have you tried phoning Gremlin about your orders? Their number is on the website i think. Maybe they sent you other peoples tracking numbers by mistake and there is someone in Morecambe with your tracking number?
I placed 2 orders through them, and got the second order no problem - but the first order never made it to me and the tracking number leads me to this notice:
Your item, posted on 09/04/09 with reference [deleted for privacy] was delivered in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on 18/04/09.

I am trying to figure out if this means it made it to a USA sorting facility from which it will locally be delivered or if that means it’s been delivered to the residence (in which case I have a bone to pick.) That first order was worth just over $200.00 USD. I think “Royal Mail” needs to update their systems to allow for a true delivery notice.
Morecambe is where Gremlin are based - I would guess that RM have received the parcel at their depot in Morecambe, ready to ship out to wherever you live.
Maybe give them a call/email to double check though - just in case! :wgrin:
First class delivery isnt always next day (like it used to be!) - it took 2 days for mine to come first class, as it tends to do nowadays for a first class parcel from any company. The only way to get guaranteed next day delivery is by using “special delivery”, which costs more.
EDIT: - in fact if you google the address, it shows it as a post office! So you should be OK.
as an update, it appears that my shipment was indeed misdelivered. My address has “south” in it, as there is a guy that lives at the same address but “north” instead.
Apparently the word south was carried down to the line with my city so it read as south Jacksonville instead of south ‘road name’. Talked to the guy who got my package and got everything i requested. Def. using gremlin again - but be sure to emphasize if you have directional indicators like north or west in your street name.
yeah i called them up on fri, and he told me that address was the postal sorting office, he had 3 other people call him about it that day lol. but i received it later that fri, about 3:30pm! never received anything that late in the day before
One whole week and not even one e-mail response from them to my 3 e-mails(one sent directly and another two through the store, wich is basicly the same thing).
Im not waiting around anymore. I already canceled my order.
In the meantime my cousin got:
8 Clear Seimitsu screw-in’s.
1 clear bubble balltop(spelling >.<?).
1 black balltop.
1 Sanwa JLF TP 8Y.
2 Packs of shaft covers.
In the same amount of time.
I ordered a Sanwa stick and 6 buttons on the 24th. Emailed them on 27th to change the colour to all green and they’ve gone out their way to do this for me.

Cool Spammeh, let us know how you get on with the mod. Im still waiting for my JLF to arrive, think Im gonna order Sanwa buttons after all… stock buttons are beginning to get unresponsive
Oh did the KLF come with a shaft cover?
nah no shaft cover included, just the disk. Tempted to mod the gameshark stick and give back the amazon one. I’ve put up the gameshark one on amazon but the fees make it really hard to sell and make up the price i bought it at with delivery. :crybaby:
I’ve put it up for 84 and after fees I’d get 70 so it’s quite a big loss. Don’t really care about profit on this one. Just want my money back.
Id say send the Amazon one back and keep the Game Shark one, the shaft cover is the black thing that goes round the shaft of the stick right? If its doesn’t come with one do you really need it?
