I actually do like the power distribution in the Breaker, even the “God” character that is 9AD can still get his ass kicked and can still struggle(as seen against the Chief)
Shioon’s already beaten Cool Guy once, and that was just with the Mahwan pill. This time he was using BOT(which evened the odds for 9AD against the Chief even if it was just some Iori-ish slashing out), which makes his victory much less of an asspull

I like the distribution in breaker because its one guy that can basically shift the power of the world. And then an organization forms around that overwhelming strength.

This is true. Shi-yoon did pull out something that was planned, I still just…I don’t know. It just rubs me the wrong way when I constantly see “This guy’s spirit is amazing! He should be dead/knocked out by now. But he’s still going! How much power does he have left?” It really just rubs me badly when I read that in over 20 different mangas.
Like…in DBZ, I don’t EVER remember Goku pulling out something like that, even with Freiza, SS Goku was VASTLY superior to him in everyway, Freiza stood no chance at all. And Goku backed out the fight with Cell cause he knew he’d lose. Goku dicked around with Buu because he wanted Gotenks to become the new guardian, and Vegito outclassed Super Buu by leaps and bounds, it wasn’t even funny how bad Super Buu was out classed. Kid Buu was the only person that came close to that type ordeal.
Breaker’s power distribution is a lot better than most Manwhas/Mangas I’ve read. I just think I have a problem with Shi-yoon.
I agree. Kenichi does a really good job of drawing clear cut lines between who will win in a fight. The best example I seen of that was in the Tirawit fight. Dear lord that’s what made me like Tirawit so much.
Has anyone heard anything about Veritas’ creator? He said in his last chapter, that he was taking a break and considering making a part 2.
^I don’t even see how he’s gonna continue Veritas if he wants to unless he does a retcon of the obvious rushjob near the end. I mean Reunion burned to the ground, many of the main martial artists died, and Yuri’s back at full health, there’s literally no point.

What’s goin on with Tough? The latest chapter, everyone’s all “WTF, look at Kibo!!!”, while gramps and Seiko are all “Oh…holy…shit. We may have fucked up, raising THIS one…”. All they show is a portion of his face after the reaction of everybody else…but now with his face calm and eyes closed, plus a scratch on his left cheek, he kinda resembles…Kiryu? Seiko was wondering how Kibo could master and surpass his bloodline-passed techniques earlier. Or is there something else that I’m missing that would cause such shock from everyone?
Yeah but it won’t be revealed for several more chapters that show more about Kibo’s parents. Part of the answer is right in front of you.
[spoiler=Kibo’s parents]Kiryuu is Kibo’s biological father. He met Kei sometime before, and Kei fell in love with him and got pregnant. For some reason or another Kiryuu abandoned her, and Seiko offered to raise Kibo in his stead as he loved Kei. Kei fell in love with Seiko after but was killed by a drunk driver. Kibo shouldn’t know how to do Seiko’s tiger foot, he should know Kiryu’s dragon leg. [/spoiler[
