Yeah, thatās one thing thatās offsetting about Itagaki(you know, besides all the BMA, Characters jobbing, lackluster protagonist stuff), in some of the chapters he betrays a strong Japanese nationalism(the case here with Yuichiro, Yuujirouās fights in Vietnam(and itās most prominent during the extra episode of the anime). There was also a chapter where Yuujirou was discussing why Jack lost and not Baki, and it was because Jackās blood wasnāt āpureā enough, now you could get some unfortunate implications from that statement but Iām going to leave that up to you

Nah, Yujiro isnāt a too developed character. He is pretty contradictory, i hope to know more about Hanmaās line history from upcoming chapters.
As for Jack, i personally think he didnāt expect Jack would be born. And Jackās mother wasnāt a perfect woman to carry his child. Lol, Emi just tried to kill Yujiro when he pissed her off. And Jackās mother isnāt so brave, she couldnāt even fire him to the back. He was surprised when he heard thatās Jackās his son. I donāt think the whole Jack thing is just about nationality.

I still wonder if any group besides WFP will pick up Baki series some day in a future.
I was always surprised that scanlate groups could easily pick up some shitty yaoi (as someone said, āFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUā) to translate but canāt do that for Bakiā¦ thatās sucks, iād say Baki is one of the best martial arts manga. Maybe not so good as Hajime no Ippo but itās still more enjoyable than such kinds of manga as Naruto, for example. What a shame itās so unpopular, i canāt understand the reason of it.
^Well still, despite some moderate-good popularity(and thatās actually inaccurate considering they make tv specials and stage plays based around it) in Japan, Bakiās more obscure over here. Those shitty yaois unfortunately have much more readership (though thatās also odd due to the amounts of Bare Male Ass in Baki :p). Also you have to be able to maintain teams and other things, Baki has had other scanlating groups besides WFP before, they just werenāt able to stay together consistently. Sonikku had the best run until they reported him.
No, WFP actively fucked with any scanlation groups that tried to pick it up.
Whenever someone started doing scanlations, WFP dropped another 10 chapters onto the public readers for each chapter that the original tried to release, since they had the backlog of all the chapters.
