Baki beating Olivia in brute force is such bullshit. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. The only person that I believe that has the best chance against Pickle is non other than Yujiro. Anyone else is bullshit. The author set the bar so damn high with Yujiro and then Pickle, it’s impossible to accept anyone beating them.

Seems like the author is trying to rush to finish SoO since Baki is randomly getting powered up and making everyone look fray. Still don’t know how Baki made pickle his bitch or how he defeated Olivia in brute force.
Do you remember the fact? Doppo told Kato a fighter should eat to be strong. I remember he was eating some food before Jack vs Baki clash, and still couldn’t win to Jack in a blow-to-blow contest, so he used a guliotine choke. The fight was long, and Baki was almost dead at the end. He couldn’t even stay. He got a broken arm and deadly profuse hemorrhaging. And Baki used martial arts. That was realistic… more or less.
What happened then? He owned Oliva after being 2 weeks without food. The fight was pretty short. Baki didn’t used techniques. He was thrown with such a force. Not a single injury. He could stand up after the fight. That’s a bullshit. Especially considering the fact, Oliva is tougher than Jack.
And then he bitched Pickle. Without Oni No Kao mode. Of course, Katsumi’s hypersonic Mach attacks could shake the whole Tokyo Dome stadium. And at the same time didn’t do a shit to Pickle. Pain? Yes. Blood? No! And Baki kicked Pickle so hard he was bloodlusted. He even knocked down him. Unfair challenge.
WTF with that? Oh, yeah, that’s magical baddas with bigger HP bar. Yujiro is faster, he just countered Baki’s flip counter kick again (he did it once when Baki was 13). Yujiro is tougher and has much more durability. Yujiro is physically stronger, he unclenched Baki’s fist by two fingers. He knows more techniques than Baki due to his combat experience. And… Baki wins? Baki is a joke! He was a pretty good fighter in anime. He did many efforts to overcome others. But now these magical power-ups. First, he lost to Yanagi. Then got XP after sex with Kozue. Then he owned Yanagi’s ass. Then… he ran away with Kozue. The lazy idiot fighting auras ruins the whole thing.
I don’t like Baki anymore. He doesn’t deserve to win. I will root for Yujiro. He’s cool. I hope he kicks Baki. But if Baki wins, i will still think Yujiro is much better. His style, personality and attitude (“I’m the strongest creaure on the planet, i will just crush anyone who challenge me even if it’s my son… btw, i lol at Ki or chakra shit”. I prefer this style) are more suitable for the best fighter in the world than Baki’s (“I just want to be a bit stronger than you. If you were the weakiest on Earth, i would like to be the second weakiest”). No excuse for Emi, ya know.
Yeah I started to hate Baki after he beat Kaku Kaious son, and Oliva. Yujiro as absurd as he is makes so much more sense. Because hes a fucking mutant. Thats the only logical explanation for Yujiro. He’s a goddamn muscle dystrophy or whatever it is…Neck Stump having, shoulder skyscraper, Spark Mandrill faced Freak of the Apocalypse. Im sick of trying to figure the Hanma family out. LOL.

There was some legal issue. I don’t know the details. All the Son of Ogre chapters are up for download on the thread on the Ritual scan forum which link was earlier posted on this thread. You might have to go back a couple pages.
