I really enjoy RRR. Good series.
Need…translations…BUT AWESOME non the less.
What’s RRR?
27 year old guy with a music career that never got off the ground winds up trying out for boxing due to some circumstances.
I like that it depicts boxing training (run, run, run some more) more accurately than other manga.
Oh so it’s full name is RRR.
Will give it a read soon
RRR= Rock n’ Roll Rikitarou. I actually love this series. I feel it touches me personally since I’m also 27 and dealing with life like he is.
Wow! RRR is good!
So where is a good spot to catch up on tough? I am on the part where Kiibo is training with his uncle. Also when will the English translated version of Baki be available?
Go to Mangareader for Tough.
New Gekiryuuchi is up. Kei levels up too fast. While they never said in detail what he does, there’s no way he should be winning as “easy” as he does. I know it’s been two months since he broke Takahashi’s nose. He’s suspended from school and no idea what he does for training aside from boxing basics. But still. His progress is crazy.
Gotta say I do like that he doesn’t do that lame nonsense that Yuu does. Yuu time and time again turns back into being a bitch. Getting scared, doubting himself heavily, losing fights and such. He’s leveled up. He should no longer be hindered like that. Should be straight iron confidence.
I just started RRR, I havent been able to make it through a chap yet without cracking up XD
edit: Also SoO 268 is up over at Sonikku’s
So I checked out RRR and Gekiryuuchi, and I must say that they both are really good. RRR is a nice change of pace from all the serious manga I have been reading.
Just caught up with God of High School and Im not reading Gwi. I suggest both of these. Plus, New HSD.

Wow that is one odd little circumstance at the end, though I found some kind of write up on a Japanese site, and it looks like Baki is completely refusing Yuujirou’s praise, and is distrustful of him, but Yuujirou forces Baki to accept his praise gesture.
I just tried Gwi and that further strengthens my “manwha is trash” theory.
Gekiryu was ok at first, but I think I’m done with it. Like hatred said, he levels up too fast and it wasn’t a series where I got the sense that anyone was that powerful anyway.
Aiki has been picked up by a new group apparently, so everyone should be reading that.
Explain this theory of yours… I happen to like Veritas, God of H.S, and the breaker.
God of HS is a webcomic, and Veritas was cancelled.
Only exception so far is Breaker, and we’ll see how that goes.

Kiichi’s turn for his powerups.
IIRC the Kaiken-ken was a technique which was transferred verbally. Once passed on, the previous user’s memory(Seiko/Kiryuu’s father) was erased. So much for that. So based upon following Tough the entire time:
The Wind Minoru has a cheap knock off(which doesn’t work at all).
Seiko has never done it.
Kiryuu can replicate it but can’t reverse the fatal effects like Son-O can.
Kiichi can now do it as well thanks to Kiryuu’s supervision eventhough his just blows up parts of the body…
And why the hell was it called Son-O’s technique when he wasn’t the one who created it. Guess because he’s the only one who can reverse it.
Oh man we should discuss pairings in manga!
Baki should get with… oh, wait.
Keiichi should get with… uh…
