He ate part of Kasumi’s arm? I thought he just snatched it off after Kasumi fucked up every muscle and tendon in it, then did a victory dance with it. He had apparently started to worship Kasumi…I always thought that was why he didn’t eat the limb (he respected him too much to use him as a mere food source), but instead took it as a souvenir…unless he ate it off-panel afterwards. I’m pretty sure they didn’t show him eating it like they did Retsu’s leg, but since i can’t read japanese, maybe what happened afterwards was mentioned in some conversation between other characters.
I keep forgetting who scanlate it, but I usually go to MangaTraders.com or MangaUpdates.com to see the progress of the series. Though I must say the group scanlating Oyaji are doing a fantastic job; their scanlation quality for the first 2 Volumes is among the best I’ve seen in years.

Haven’t read that fight in a while but yeah you’re right, Pickle snatched off Katsumi’s arm, but didn’t completely devour it(not like there was much left…), having gained some kind of respect for him. :tup:

I, too, saw the missile penis. Japan’s too damn frank about that kinda shit. In fact, Japan is the only place where the average 12 year boy knows what his friends’ dicks all look like. But Oyaji is some seriously strong shit. The dude went through a lot, and apparently has tuberculosis…he looks like a fuckin ogre (his father must have been an Ainu to be that buff and hairy compared to the average japanese girly body), can’t seem to express himself, but he has such love for his family. He doesn’t say it, but you can see it. That’s fuckin’ powerful. And when I recognized the intro to Every Rose Has It’s Thorns, I was like :wtf: Wait, no, he isn’t…yeah, he is! Oh HELL, naw!! best scuffles was the prisoner arc, with all the released prisoners. chinese arc was straight, and i love all of baki really, but i feel you. its like, at least have pickle get wild and baki have to go ogre to beat him. he is making this beast look fucking stupid right now. ha ha
saw some new scans. so baki is fucking up pickle for free right now. last we saw baki fight he took out oliva after going ogre, and he didnt even fuck oliva up really. he just knocked him out for a few. although if that last punch didnt miss, who knows what oliva’s state would have been. now we have pickle who has dominate some of the best fighters of the series so far without taking any damage. baki fights him and is fucking him up after diving off the fucking bleachers a second time just to show how manly he is. a part of me is like, thats why baki has been, and is so bad ass. he is a fucking hanma for christ sake, and another part of me is like, wtf, he is beating pickles ass without the ogre back.

^except in Yuujirou’s case, his oni back only appears when he has been pushed to his breaking point, and is done fucking around. Baki’s appears like a fashion statement, honestly, it’s like everyone BUT Baki’s fights so far have been both consistent and good, baki’s sans Oliva has not been either.
I want a translation on this fight, since this shit doesn’t seem to be making any sense from just the scans.

nice, i’ve been wanting to keep up with this series for along time. i’ve seen the super old oav and the more recent anime. the only time i’ve gotten to read the manga was when i’d find it in the raijin comics magazines anytime barnes&noble randomly had them.
