By far the most famous stand-out would have to be Tiger Mask, who’s prompted several anime series, appeared in numerous wrestling games, has a string of fighting game characters based upon his likeness(King and Armor King from Tekken for instance), and even has references to him in the most unrelated things(Final Fantasy for instance). Also several real life Japanese Pro-Wrestlers have taken his image(either playing him heroically or if they’re foreign donning the Black Tiger Mask):

@BEWD @Gimpy : Yeah I know about Tiger Mask. I actually posted the movie trailer in my Martial Arts movie group on FB. Wasn’t that Baki fight actually in the animated series? I may be wrong, but I know there was one pro wrestler who fought baki. Also in Tough (when Kiichi was younger) he fought a pro wrestler as well (besides Iron Kiba).

^I just hope Yuujirou and Musashi fight first before the inevitable jobbing to Baki. Yuujirou and Pickle not having an actual fight before Pickle’s shift to mookdom was a hugely wasted opportunity.

So is Hi-Fi Cluster a martial arts manga, or are some review sites just choosing to show martial arts-related scenes?
If you don’t know about it, apparently it’s a manga that takes place in the future, and everybody has access to any skill, or knowledge (except military and warefare skills…normally), so they can download any skill they need instantly through the use of a physically embedded “tag” system…except the protagonist, who is biologically incompatible with the tag system, and has to learn everything at the normal human rate…until he accidentally interfaces with an illegal uber-powerful precursor to the tag system, which was considered junk because unlike tags, it’s only compatible with VERY few people…and guess who it DOES work for. Yup, main character.
That’s kinda why I was asking you guys. It’s running in Jump Start right now, and I can’t find any scans…I was hoping somebody here had been following it.

^Yeah, though it was really a bad move to not at least let Hyuk So-Chun know, especially if Shioon knew who Jung Chan(smugface) was the whole time. I understand why they did it but it’s set up for possibly even a worst conflict with Chundomoon. Anyways though Shioon vs Jung Chan will be an excellent chance to see what Shioon is capable of(especially since he used HSC as his mental sparring partner)
