Nothing good came out of New Wave. The pacing is horrible. None of the fights are as good. When you finally get to see the 9 Arts Dragon in action, itās really short. IIRC NW is already twice as long as The Breaker but without any redeemable qualities.
I started with new waves cuz I didnāt know it was a sequelā¦Just stop. Itās pretty garbage.
meguru is legit. more serious than other series though, and feels a bit aimless this far. translations are relatively slow though.

Uh, serious like a realistic look at MMA fighting/club membership. It still has comedy and stuff, but its the most down-to-earth series about fighting that I can think of.

New Wave had some great moments. Yea the pacing is bad, and the breaks are extra retarded but some of the best fights in the series happen in New Wave.
Especially if you read the Original, New Waves beginning was painfully slow but when it picked up the pace it restores itself.
Can we talk about sports manga in here too? Or am I shit out of luck?

RRR is pretty fucking good boxing one
I used to read Eyeshield years ago and it could probably hold up as a martial arts manga cause of some of the cast and epic beat downs that happen on the reg lol.
