I noticed that. Pretty hype moment honestly even if they both were scrubs. Shiwoon is about to get a real match next chapter.

Also, I like the fact that Shioon has access to the 1/2 Black Origin Threshold. If he can tap into that during this fight, we might be looking at a couple of the best chapters in all of New Waves.

So I have finally caught up with Tough and Minoru. now I just need to catch up with Shamo and Kenich. Also what are some other good martial arts mangas? I already read all of Baki.

^Holyland is pretty much obligatory if you haven’t read it already

Kenji is also pretty good, especially if you’re interested in a more historical martial arts manga

I also really liked Overbleed, though the ending was really truncated due to the author being forced to end the series early(people felt it was too violent to have young kids as a main focus).

Ultra Red is also a quick read, though the ending may throw you off a bit

Rock N Roll Ricky is also pretty cool(yes I consider boxing martial arts even though its technically in a different genre)

Also, don’t forget the Breaker, Yawara!, Teppu, and All Rounder Meguru

Marathon’d All Rounder Meguru yesterday+today.
Good stuff, the art style was a bit… er… awkward to me in the beginning, not a particular fan of it.
But I really do like some of the characters, guess my favorite one is fairly obvious.
Worth it!
