Very choppy way to end that arc and several loose ends
Isn’t it the Heavenly Way School’s guys that want to take over the Murim in the long run but using SUC as a cover? It was the heavenly way school kid’s uncle right? I wonder if the kid is going to get involved and beat his uncle up. The Shinwoo being puny and weak is annoying, so many recent chapters where he can’t do a thing and it makes him look stupid.
Out of curiosity there isn’t any scanlations of the original Grappler Baki past 88 right? What’s the equivalent anime episode for that then? Just started the series…
We don’t know how involved Heavenly Way/Chundomoon is yet. We know for sure that the mustachioed elder and Hyuk So-Chun(genius)'s “uncle” are at the top of the org. All evidence is pointing to Hyuk So-Chun not having any idea(yet Shioon thinks he does and is starting to hate him).
Iirc, 88 is Baki getting ready to spar Yuri right? That’s episode 2 :D, if you’re confused that’s because the anime skipped the Champion Arc and went right to the Boyhood Arc

I agree completely. I’ve found Yujiro (the dude shows a full range of emotions, has no problem with both calling you out for sucking, but will give you props if due. He can copy your style and whup your ass with it, but he’s not gonna disrespect you by beating you with it, Despite the fact that he will give people props the praise he heaped on Ali was still enough of a o_O moment. Also, clearly he’s smart as fuck) and several other characters (like Hanayama. Stoic, to the point, honorable and loyal as fuck. when you think about it, the tattoo on his back fits him perfectly. Also, dat Doppo.) to be far more interesting as opposed to Baki at this point.
Baki’s entertaining and a likeable guy, but He’s not as interesting as his supporting cast right now.

So after BEWD posted a link of Neandertal erotica on another thread i started reading Grappler Baki (or should i say Son of Ogre), so far i like it (though the great amount of inaccuracies annoy me

When i finish the Pickle Arc i will start the manga from the beginning.

More like fight nights, though several boxing games ripped off the scheme of the Ippo games. I have both the ps2 games and the Wii one. The definitive version is the Boxer’s Road game, but that’s JPN only ;<
