Just started playing my PS3 game and it’s plagued with issues.
It froze on “Starting new game” when I installed it.
So disabled internet and deleted all game data and re-installed it.
It doesn’t start when my PS3 is connected to the internet and loading off an auto save.
Game freezes when auto save is disabled and you try and manually save.
So no online till they release a patch 
So anybody hear anything about what the 2 xb360 DLC’s will be?
I know at least ONE of them is a city - dunno if the other will be another city or an MMO patch.
i thought it was confirmed that they were just adding missions as dlc
Yeah it wouldn’t load when wanted to play now, it just stayed on the now loading screen but never did load. I’m re-installing hope it works.
also, am I tripping or does this game have no main menu? :looney: Yesterday I put the game installed, was shown some images and all of a sudden the opening sequence began… No press start, no begin new game, just like that.

Like how GTA III got VC and SA, that’s what the 360 is getting - 2 whole other episodes.
But it’s up in the air as of late what the 2nd DLC will be - Some say it’ll be another city and others say it’ll be an MMO patch but in my eyes it’ll make more sense to make the MMO a stand alone disc for both systems.

Flow, I think you have to get a cellphone in game (which is like 5-10 mins in) then you can access the MP menu. So yeah, no main menu, but you do have to put up with those opening images everytime you start the game though.

an mmo would be nice, but i can’t see it working with the engine. it already slows down like mad if you work it too hard.
i still say zombie mode would rule. have a helicopter randomly spawn and everyone has to make it there in one piece :rock:

something that is really bothering me is the fact that liberty city is a ghost town. like you can go for blocks and there might be one or two ppl…this IS a factor because NY isn’t like that at all and even if you take NY out of the picture, when i want to randomly run ppl the hell over i should not have to travel a whole lot to do it.
hell, if i shoot somebody, more swat team and police officers come on screen in a 1 mile radius than in half the city.
dlc for ps3 should include more npc’s. i don’t even care if they don’t’ add anything else other than that.

I can’t get online with the 360 version, its bullshit. Everytime I go to multiplayer and try to join a game, it says I get disconnected after about 30 seconds of listenin to some mic chatter from other people who DO get to play. Anyone know what the hell is wrong?
Also… I cant do Romans cab missions anymore (I’m past the point where they’re available)… did I fuck up my chance of getting 100%? And do Little Jacob/Brucie’s phone/email missions ever run out? Cause if they do, I’m just gonna knock em out.
I’m so hype for the DLC, even if it is just new missions or whatever. I’ll pay for it mos def.

After “Romans Sorrow” you cant do cab missions anymore, because his Depot got burned to the ground. His cab missions didnt count towards 100% they were there just for extra cash. I dont know about Brucie, but there are about 15 of those Little Jacob side missions.
Does the 40 GB PS3 give the game any problems?
