GTA2 will always be the best of the series.
Maaaaaaaaaaaaan
Multiplayer GTA is a dream come true - I think I might have found my NBA 2K8 replacement for the #2 spot…hell it might take Halo 3’s #1 spot lol
Oh, snap!
If we’re going to get some SRK STREET GANGS runnin the skreets, I’m going to have to buy a next gen and lead an uprising or two.
never really got into the COD4 hype but you know in the intro " “50,000 people used to live here, now it’s a ghost town…”
Well once GTA IV comes out, they’ll have to change it to “50,000 people used to play this, now it really is a ghost town up in here…”
GTA IV believe the hype
GOIN’ CRAAAAZY.
I dunno I just like the really mysterious aspect of the main character. You dont know his name and he never talks. Hes got a bad ass aura about him. Plus all the 9/11 rumor / controversy + darkel and all the other really REALLY interesting things and easter eggs about the game make it my favorite. I hated VC. SA is really just okay.
GTA2 > All.
I don’t understand why San Andreas wasn’t the best GTA? It was the biggest sandbox, and just pure fun.
It was the best for me.
Im kind of disappointed that they took some of the character development (the gym, haircuts) out of the game for GTA4. I WANNA BE A JACKED RUSSIAN WITH A HIGH TOP FADE! lol
It was too big. Lots of empty areas and it was a hassle to get from one side of SA to the other. Still a good game, but i’m really glad they decided to shrink this game down.
Was by FAR the best to me actually. I loved the atmosphere, the sheer amount of things you could do, making my nigga fat the buffin up, soupin up cars. Then also the story was HILARIOUS. By far the funniest GTA yet.
And what in the other GTA’s is anywhere near as epic as the “LA” riots? That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in a videogame.
Yeah, SA was awesome. III had no bikes, VC was too small, but SA had it all. Dense city areas and wide open spaces. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the territory system…
are we gonna be able to go to every borough? i kinda wanna run around queens shooting any “outsiders.” we should do turf wars and shit. if possible…
“Too big”?
I’d rather have too big than too small…wtf. And by the time you needed to get from one place to another, you had the ability to do so quickly. Either fly a plane, take a plane, or just grab a bike and cruise from one end to another… that game was the height of GTA. This isn’t like ST/EX3, where it doesn’t matter if it’s 2D or 3D. 3D definitely is a must for GTA games now. As good as the classics were, they’re garbage compared to the newer ones.
The environment being too big means that there’s tons of space where there’s just nothing there. Twilight Princess also suffered from this problem; it’s just too spaced out to try to add a feeling of a big, sprawling world, and you end up with places that serve no purpose other than being filler between two areas.
And playing GTA2 multiplayer> anything else you can experience in the context of GTA.
I wouldn’t want the gym in GTA4, but it would’ve been nice to have haircuts. In any case, this aint FFX-2… and I didn’t preorder this game to play dress up. 9 days niggas
Also… who the hell knows… Darkel really fits the vibe of what GTA4 looks like. Maybe he’ll get an appearence.
Even the “filler” places had TONS of small details. I never felt that there were any places that were “just there”. Quadbikes, hidden jumps, boats, parachutes, every place had some little thing that you could use.
i’ll be repping new guernsey & hackenslash, all day! my real gta niggas know what it is.
No San Andreas had way too much fucking open space. Agreed 100%. No question about it. Took sooooooooooooooooooooooo long to get from end to another. Im all for having big citys and shit but not that open forest area where there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING or INCREDIBLY long boring highways where you just DRIVE.
8 more days and I’m fiendin’
Any straight up details about Multiplayer yet?
