Hey guys, I’ve had a go at making my first combo vid, except it’s not specifically combos it’s just a vid to show Gouken’s Kongoshin.
Feel free to check it out and I’d love to know what ya think.

Cheers
I love Kongo-ing, it was the reason I picked Gok up to begin with.
your video makes me feel comfortable! ^^

What funky tune is that?
It was a cool vid! The kongo is indeed a very satisfying move!
You did some clever countering there. I like to throw out a counter after a blocked dashing-palm, too
The music is from a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix by some french Turntablists called C2C. They won the DMC World Championships 4 years in a row 2003-2006. I’m not sure if it is even a track in it’s on right, more of just the 4 of them doing a live scratch session.
The essential mix was on 20/11/2005 so a Google search should come up trumps with it available for d/l somewhere. It’s an hour long though but definately worth listening to, I have a copy in my car!
Hey, cool…! I’ve heard of C2C and I really liked their 2005 DMC set.
No new videos to check out?.. :xeye:
I really like Bullcat’s Gouken. Some time ago Desora was the most recognized Gouken player but he looks about as solid as jello next to Bullcat.

Three things to learn from
[]EX flip as a mostly safe way to punish attempted DP FADC for huge damage
[]Near-corner combo of EX Palm, lp hado, palm. I think you can always do hp palm but lp palm is really easy.

After palm in the corner, backdash to set positioning for hado pressure. Otherwise they can do a hit-confirmed wakeup DP/ultra.
Also around 1:46 hado -> s.hk is a nice blockstring. Has risk involved but makes people scared to jump/fireball/whatever after blocking a fireball.
Great play in this video. I wish I could use LK tatsu as an anti-air without being scared of getting low kongo 90% of the time. Great psychic jump at 1:43.
Wow~ Desora and Bullcat are serious :xeye:
Both are awesome, but IMO Bullcat is better. It’s just amazing how much I learn everytime I watch one of his combats and how flawless is his gameplay style.
absolutely right, also at 01:56 shows us sometimes too much pressure will bring death to ourselves. Watch those ultras ! I mean it.

Bullcat sure does love playing the Africa stage.
tokido is the same way but instead of playing the africa stage, he plays the snowy railyard stage.
Myself i prefer Desert Temple stage… Home ground “advantage”…
