unless they were on the same continent (in which case ignore the below and put me in the bullcat sucks at the mirror camp), if it wasn’t obvious, the connection would have been absolutely awful. during the last 3 videos during the last rounds he was clearly frustrated at his inability to deal with constant jump ins/flips in that connection so he kept jumping non stop to make that point. I’m surprised anyone thought he was jumping for any other reason. I’m sure he rematched out of either hard headedness or politeness because someone made the effort to set up some cross global games. That’ll be why he stopped accepting invites.

my locale was japan at the time bro , i sat the first match not only to observe this dude but to see if he was game on the connection , which was green and yelloe 50/50. the west coast usa i would say has some tendency to have great games with japan, ask around , i mean if it was shitty connection i wouldnt have even played the dude…this goes to show how much my style is doubted just cause its not what you all glorify as being the way to play gouken , thats just what it seems like …

Your Strategy was straight for consistent jump ins or and demonflips followed by lk and cr.HK or throw. AA comes from back jump HK or MP. And dont let your opponent get up by instant jump in lp. What it looked like was a jumping Gouken through the screen. I really thought, that i would get the chance to see a good Gouken with some new or impressive stuff. But what i saw was a new player getting into Vanilla Gouken and doing random stuff. Yo , dont get me wrong, this isnt bad, because there is always a beginning.
Today, several months after i watched your replay, i saw that you actually posted new videos of yourself. I was kinda exciting to see how you developed your Gouken. But actually… -.-… there was no development at all…
So here comes the bad thing. You are playing against Japanese players and your location is in USA. This is still fine but disgusting is that you want to get balls by uploading your laggy wins against those players. Your one match against wolfkrone or any other USA player doesnt prove anything. This should be your chance to actually show us a first to ten against wolfkrone or another KNOWN player in YOUR location.
But lets get back to the japanese games. I know how bad the connection is and i played many matches with Desora. Both sides won matches but still the lagg was terrible and you couldnt really execute well. im not going to take a side on whether you are good or not, but i will say your vids look kinda random.
now dont take that the wrong way. i know a few really good players that are hella random.
however, what you are doing looks like it would be much more effective in a laggy game than in a solid connection or offline.
for example, blocking high, and then attempting to low block a sweep is much harder in lag than it should be. not to say constant flip sweep wont work ever, but not nearly as much as it did in the few vids i watched, where you landed it with 90% effectiveness.
other things that appear to be scrubby are the mashed kongo in every defensive situation, and always doing something on wake up. whether its kongo, or ex flip, or wake up jump, you dont ever appear to just block.
but the critical analysis could be wrong. maybe you just have a really good read on your opponents on your wake up, and you know they cant finish their combos/or are going to try an unsafe block string. maybe jump kick sweep is legit.
whatever the case, if it works for you, keep at it
i mean finally something with at eleast a little less hate coming out of it…i honestly never block bro …i have an se stick and the plumb area has incresed over the last year or so meaning blocking now requires more precision than just holding back …i am the unorhtodox gouken ask anyone that plays me ive nearly 18k matches here and i had more in vanilla ,…ive been doing not just jump mk sweep but if you really watch me ive got the crossup shit like no other…yea ill go all flip kicks on a mofo if i want to and i have videos where you maybe will start understanding my style…no worries mike thx for the heads up

Thats a much better response. What i wrote was my first impression to your action here. And iam a guy who is immediatly saying what hes thinking. You should have started like that from the start, because all i was reading was nonsense when you began to cheer you up somehow.
So, to get to your strategy.
Like i said before, you use a simple strategy to get your opponent down. Your main achievement there is to get your opponent to the point where he have to decide, if he should tech a possible throw attempt or to block. Also what i see, you like to do those crossups demonflips which can be handled by your cr.HK on any side but your opponent have to block the right side. The other strategy behind this is, that you wont allow your opponent to jump. You want him to stay on the ground, so you can get your cr.HK situation. So, is this the only case you use this strategy or what lies behind this ?
Do you even know why its working or did you get this strategy by hazard ? Yo please dont get cocky again. Iam serious and i would play with you if there wouldnt be the distance of lagg. Because iam playing with every Gouken player to gain more expierence. During a mirror match you can learn much about yourself.
