I mean, Bullcat beats Desora regularly, other top players like Mago, Tokido, etc.
This doesn’t really change my view of him as the top Gouken out there.
(Don’t take this the wrong way though, you did awesome against him! you definitely have some nice setups, etc… and I’m sure he learned something new playing against you.)

lol, you have my respect already… Like I said already, I really like your Gouken, and actually, I respect Gouken players in general, since I find him to be such a bad character, it’s so damn hard to play with him, I tried a long time ago and gave up. lol.
But I’m actually picking him up to be my second character again, I’m having a lot of fun with him, I really like using him as a zoning heavy character. I’ve played with Akuma, Ken, Viper and Bison, but no win feels as satisfying as a win with Gouken. 
But yeah, I didn’t want you to misinterpret my first comment the wrong way, I was just stating that I still feel Bullcat is the strongest Gouken right now. That’s all.

I’ve basically lived on Asia’s replay list for about a year now, haha, and I’ve seen my fair share of his matches, he mashes like CRAZY, he’s one of my least favorite players. :-/

one thing all gouken know is that you have to give to get and if youre starting at an even cadence of offensive exchanges gouken definitely has the tools to turn the corner and win in a close one

Don’t look to deeply into it, I’m sure a lot of people can take him in a mirror match like takin said, but I don’t think that takes away from Bullcat being the best Gouken. He wasn’t up to snuff in the mirror match, but that’s not what matters anyways. I’m sure he’s learned some new tech from those fights.
I completely agree, I even said the same thing, I’m sure he learned a few new things in those games with takin.
