I have a question, the best way i can utilise this is one jab-super using a stock controller, my question is does a jab that hits-super give them a window to escape with a jump? It seemed to online, which means you have to essentially kara a naked super to have it unescapable? If that’s the case, what about a blocked jab-super at point blank?
If you could do it consistently, yeah, it is useful as an SPD-range super that hits for 330 damage. Unfortunately I simply don’t have that kind of finger dexterity.
And (just in case) no, that’s not what She said.
For me jumping in/vertical jump with a LP then mash for reversal super demon is more reliable.
no none of them works… kara super demon is only guaranteed at point blank range by itself… since u r using a controller as well as me… and i can’t do this one yet… i use another way to kara demon on a ps3 pad…
6+mp~lp, 3_9lp~lk~hp or f+strong~jab, d/f_d/u+jab~short~fierce
if u have played nightmare in soul calibur 4 and practiced his 2 main JFs this shouldn’t be that hard… because if u think about it doing the kara super demon this way basically means u r doing 6b~A,3_9a~g~A+G or 6+triangle~square, 3_9square~x~R1…assuming u have ur controls set on type A
This motion is reasonable on a stick. I’m getting the demon to come out consistently, but the vast majority of the time I’m doing it too slow so that the first hit of the Roundhouse hits and cancels to demon. Keep in mind, however, that I’m not an execution-heavy player and can’t do standard v-ism combos in a3 and rc electricity in cvs2.
This technique is feasible. In fact, I’ll screw around with some setups and make another video in the coming week.
Seconded. Could only get it out some time during the first kick myself.
All I can say is that you have to do it faster. If you’re getting a Roundhouse that hits and then cancels to demon, you’re close to getting it.
finaly ended up pulling this off lastnight :woot: cant wait to use it in my next ranbat meet in belfast, im gonna scair some peoples
yup, i tested this and it is officially game breaking… wonder if this is gonna change some tiers up or not.
i pulled this off in Champion mode on a dictator, he wasn’t too happy about that
took me like 5 minutes to get the timing down and another 10 minutes to bust it out at 50%. my fingers hurt
Interesting if not all that useful as far as the super demon is concerned.
Could have some useful application with ultra, or may make ultra more useful offensively.
This is what displays when I do it. It felt really like I mashed the rest of the command at once after the jab+rh. This is ultra btw.

Clu2025: According to that picture, you input Jab~Roundhouse. This will give you a Jab canceled to demon, which is one form of Tsuji Demon. You must input (Jab+Roundhouse)~Strong to get the Tsujinrai. New video with inputs here:

Ah, got ya. Will get back on it in a few hours, thank you. And that video is really good.
that looks nuts
I cannot position my fingers correctly to get this to come out consistently. Can you explain how you have your hand positioned on the stick and which fingers hit which buttons? I get mad cramps trying this out.
Index on Jab, pinky on Roundhouse, middle hovering an inch over Strong. Press them all at the same time, and the extra travel time of the middle finger will allow you to hit Strong a frame after the other two buttons. From there, quickly pivot your hand so that your index finger is on Short and your pinky is on Fierce.
Edit: wrong thread.
the video i meant to send was supposed to be by youtube member desora24,
but it was already discussed in the plink thread.
Just thought it would be good to include here since the video actually shows the button inputs
Uhh
Good find Jinrai, that’s a wickedly sick move.
(i’d rep u but i’m 24’d…)
Just got it down, thanks!
I just tried this for the first time last night at someones house (I don’t have the game)
This is much easier than it sounds. You can look at it as 2.5 inputs, but I’m only considering it 2. At least on Sanwa’s, this comes out like cake.
At least with the Super version I’ve been finding a real purpose. The Ultra however, I only landed it once doing this cause someone was trying to poke low.
