I’ve been looking for a new team. I was originally running Wolvie/Dante/Akuma, but that team has gotten me some grief from other players so now I really want to try Trish/Dante/???
Still looking for a third.

Trish/Iron Man/Storm
Assists: Peekaboo for snap back mix-ups and defensive-ness. (Ehh, kinda lame for defense but still.)
Unibeam for offensive approaches. Or smart bomb for OTG.
Whirlwhind, just because it has good durablity and whatnot.
If you’re good at building meter, you can cause some serious chip damage with crossover combinations.
Ehh don’t pay attention to other players. Even if they think it’s weak, they honestly need to practice against teams like that because they’re common characters and really good. You’re doing them a favor, they just don’t realize it yet
But really any good assist character in that third slot works. Haggar, Doom, Akuma, Sentinel, etc.
I’ve actually found that I like Dante with Weasel Shot when paired with Trish as well, as I find the vertical control with Jam Session to be less important for her.
I run Trish/Morrigan/Phoenix.
Nice finds I’ll have to steal some of your ideas it’s fun annoying everyone with Trish but for some reason I like to get them into the corner and chip strings like Round trip>Devil Trigger air beam> Assist cold star to take off atleast 30% of their life on block or Round Trip tag in amaterasu(M stance) instant overhead A.L>divekick>and her horizontal moving air move thing into Hyper for a modest 400,000 damage. Also Amaterasu(or any character that can change direction of their combos) can use hop scotch for untechable air exchanges. This team seems to be able to do everything except may be lose to strong zoning. Do you have a hard time vs Rushdown or zoning? because at times I feel so vulnerable without a beam assist or something covering my approach sometimes but when I need to I do find a way in eventually.
there aren’t many people to play where i am from but without her assists i think zoning really gets her but if she has both assists neither are too big a problem if you play her well
Who are you getting zoned out by? Trish has pretty solid zoning and movement tools herself. Unless you’re up against Magneto throwing Shockwaves, she should be hanging in there.
I was going to say Magneto but I also have quite some trouble vs Dormmamu’s light mass (vertical beam) game and Iron man unless its because I’ve never really played against any. Other than that it seems manageable
A bunch of characters can fight evenly with her in zoning wars and outzone her with the proper assist. Dorm/Sent, Task/Sent is pretty annoying. She doesn’t lose per se but it’s not free like against many other characters.
Doesn’t really matter since SJ Divekick can catch them off guard and body a lot of those zoning strats freeeeee
From the book of Mike Ross, “GET IN THERE, GOOTECKS!”
Ok Guyz, I need some advice with my team.
Currently Im using Wesker/Spencer/Taskmaster
I was thinking on trying out with Wesker/Spencer/Trish.
Do you think this is a good idea?, any advice?
That’s a tough collection of characters IMO. Wesker and Spencer both benefit from an assist that can help them “get in there”, like Taskmaster’s Horizontal Arrows.
Trish’s Low Voltage assist seems like it should be able to do the job, but it comes out impossibly slow and doesn’t hold people in blockstun for very long.
If you really want to get Trish on your team, I’d do something like Trish/Wesker/Taskmaster or Spencer/Trish/Taskmaster.
Wasker/spencer/Trish works. Though I like it more as Wasker/Trish/Spencer. Wasker gets free teleport mixups basically whenever, Trish can abuse being lame or zoning with traps and Spencer arm assists.
or put Trish on front and have a good low assist/otg and spencer help zone with arm assists. Actually the team works regardless. But with Wesk/Trish/Spen, Wasker can DHC into Trish safely and Trish and DHC into Spencer safely.
So ive been using Viper(seismo)/Trish(low voltage or hopscotch)/Sentinel(drones). I was thinking of replacing Sentinel with Akuma(tatsu) His tatsu assist really helps Viper but I couldnt find a wat for it to benefit Trish.
if you’re going to play something like Viper/Trish/???, both characters are overall going to help Viper more than anything since she’s one of those characters you have to make a team around. Viper/Trish/Dante or Viper/Trish/beam or projectile assist are generally the choices. Round Harvest setups for Viper to get lvl 3 focus attack off. 2nd assist either helps hold them in place for Viper to hit lvl 3 focus or help her get in easier. Just some general ideas. Viper/Trish/Dante have the unblockable setup in both round harvest setups or just general mixups with Burn Kick assist if Dante or Trish is in.
I guess Akuma could work with Trish. She wouldn’t get much of anything but a free hit confirm off a hit tatsu. If Viper has seismo assist, it definitely helps her damage output for her BnB. But that also goes towards who you would want on point.
Originally I had Trish on point and would just use the round harvest setups for viper. The problem im having is finding an assist that benefits bother characters equally. The best one I found is sentinel drones. I change up who I have on point depending on my opponents characters. Mainly I start of on point with Viper but against say zoning teams or wesker I like to start off with Trish. I might try dante. I was using sentinel adn that team as pretty good so I guess it would be best to stick with him. I liked akuma’s potential as anchor. He is beast in lvl x-factor. lol
I like Trish/Viper/Akuma, Trish/Viper/Sentinel and Trish/Viper/Dante.
Viper’s Seismo assist lets Trish extend her combos and combo off air throws. Akuma, Sentinel and Dante all have great assists that benefit both characters to either get in, stay in, or do cool stuff.
You can also end a combo with a knockdown, Round Harvest, raw tag Viper in and then pin them using those 3 assists into an unblockable. Very strong stuff.
Thats true. Ive been playing mainly the two teams with Viper/Trish and either Akuma or Senteniel. The one with Akuma feels more like a pure rushdown team. The one with Sentinel feels stronger. I guess I have to suck it up and learn sentinel flight combos. back to the sentinel threads with me lol. =).
I also get way more out of Sentinel than Akuma. The only thing is akuma is ridiculously easy to use in my opinion and is really strong in xfactor lvl 3. Same with sentinel but akuma is like an entirely different character lol.
Shulk Trish Akuma
Came up with an unblockable setup off of trish’s round harvest, this is best for knockdowns on oppenents,
Round Harvest tag akuma call shulk (torpedo assist) then akuma’s overhead not only do you get the chip damage but you get a free combo which could go to easy 100%. This team also has some really good reset potential. Wish she hulks command throws and otg assist and you can virtually combo off of anything from knockdowns to throws, If the
I’m a big fan of that team as well. I also like that you can do a She-Hulk Command Throw -> Running Stance -> Clothesline, raw tag to Akuma, and then do a huge combo. Raw tagging after the command throw removes some of the damage scaling and Akuma combos are biggg.
The She-Hulk otg assist is great for Trish as well, though you have to be fast with it compared to Wesker or Deadpool’s.
Having the Akuma assist for She-Hulk means you don’t need Trish to use Low Voltage, but she can if you want to extend She-Hulk combos too. Or you can use Peekaboo/Hopscotch for trickiness and mix-ups on incoming characters. Good stuff.
