Yeah, he is a cool guy. It’s always nice playing other Fei Long players like GAV especially when our matches can get pretty close sometimes, it’s competitive. Haha, and he’s given me a few constructive tips to help me improve my game. I know I’m not that good of a player so any helpful criticism is welcome.

I’ve heard he is an excellent guile player but I’ve never played his guile

Hawk: Mordoz
Mordoz is so damn frustrating for my Bison. I get lucky once in awhile against him but he usually pummels me to oblivion with his cyclones which never seem to miss.
jumpkickthrow is an awesome player
JigglyNorris, GGS. I really enjoyed that session.
You play a good T.Hawk and a REALLY good Dictator. Annoying flying circus act.
Great timing on your jabs and tick throws/grabs, too. Kuroppi and I wondered whether you were using a turbo button. 
Nope, I’m turbo free. 
My Hawk did better against Kuroppi, and my Bison did better against you, but that Front Kick of your’s got me close to throwing my controller a couple times. Its like you knew exactly when I was gonna so much as jab you.
I’ve had some good games vs justgoforit or something like it, with my ZANGEIF.
I can literally 1 in 100 times reverse throw him, or get a tick throw in on him w/Piano’ing every try. Its incredibly odd, might be something to do with latency/network smoothing settings but otherwise hes one of the best kens I’ve played. (Because I can barely hit his ass… hahah)

DGV - Always gives me the best fights. What more can you ask of an opponent?His DJ is also very strong.
EA Megaman - We have epic Honda vs Fei Long matches(GET OUTTA MY HEAD!)
Cvital - His Ryu has gotten better and better, giving me tougher matches. He’s come a long way.
Fifth n SomeBUD - Say what you will about him, but IMO he has a very strong Guile.
SnakeEyes - Another great shoto player. He gave me my first loss in ranked mode lol!
Kuroppi - another great Honda player. Tough as nails.
KJ - Surgical Sagat nuff said.
Ravail(sp?) - love fighting his Gief.
BlueTallCans - Strong Blanka. Very tough.
There are several other players that I can’t think of right now, but those stick out in my memory the most.
To be honest, I kind of stopped playing this game due to too much frame skipping in the online play…
I honestly don’t think i’ll EVER stop playing this game, frameskip or not, but yeah, i know what you mean. Frameskip + Ken’s dragon punch = Fucking Nightmare…
Jigglynorris has the best T.Hawk i’ve played yet. His bison is pretty dangerous too.
Yeah, STHD isn’t the best in terms of lag handling but come on, too much frame skipping? I know you remember Kaillera and that was far worse. It’s a pity you were never able to access GGPO because there’s still a healthy community there and the lag, while not perfect, is minimal.
But at least that explains why you didn’t want to get some matches on Live. It’s been awhile since we last played (first days of 2DF I believe)…
I dunno, I’m a very reaction based player, and any kind of noticable delay or frame skipping really throws off my game and then I don’t enjoy playing so much.
I don’t know if you remember, but I refused to play anything but Champion Edition on kaillera, because the slower speed made it playable in lag.
2df netcode was excellent and I really enjoyed that… the one time I was able to play on ggpo at a friends house it was also really good. Remix netcode is reasonable on short distances, but there’s not enough of a base of strong players on the east coast to make it worthwhile. Basically the excellent players that I can play with on good connections are like, damdai and sabin. DGV, Afro Legends, Jumpsuit, Sabre, Cigar Bob, Kuroppi, Calipower, Sirlin, etc etc, the connections are just crap. I just got kind of sick of it. Most of you guys are living on the west coast though, so please continue to have fun :).
I guess its possible there are more great east coast players playing remix that just havent made it onto my friends list though… if that were the case I guess I could get back into it at some point. Just to be clear: I think remix is an excellent game.
I am a frame absed player as well.
t gets tough when you have a situation specific character as your main. There are so many situations where an average player gets away with total garabage. Garbage that they could never get away with on a good connection. And the pitty of all is that many players really don’t know any different.
