Yea no one uses it unless its for combo videos but for the most part there could be some tech with it. I will check later to see if the holding the opponent in place after a snap theory works. If so I could come up with some sick entry mix-ups.

Can somebody clarify 0D3C details?
- Do it last after of a snapback? after of a DHC? after of hypers that take the character out of the ground (okami shuffle, mighty tornado, human rocket, inferno, etc)
- startup, active frames
- raging demon and other command grabs work on the grounded character even if the player is pressing up?
All i know is it hits low and take out the ability to jump. Would test it myself but my xbox is far away >_>
I definitely see some use with j.S followed by s.M (s.M gets you grounded), so maybe a cancel from s.M to 0D3C to stalking flare to Mighty punish DHC… (…) or j.S, s.M + lockdown assist/mighty spark, 0D3C cancel, dashforward and continue combo, etc etc…

Well it does work. And since 3Cs does hit low, it makes the opponent get hit by the last few hits of round harvest so you can follow up into a full, free combo. May not be practical but thought it was cool

Nahh none of them work. When you’re in the 3C if you hold up, to the best of my knowledge and experimentation, you enter a constant state of pre-jump frames as long as you’re holding up, thus can be hit low but not grabbed. I made a pretty comprehensive post about 3C a while ago in the main tier thread to clarify some of the misconceptions about it, I’ll see if I can find it for the 3C thread.

Okay just a copy and paste from an old post which has some info which people might still be unsure/don’t know about 3C:
Once hit by 3C you cannot use teleports which leave you in the air, but you can use ones which leave you grounded. You cannot fly whilst grounded, but if you are left in the air while 3C is still active on you (ie after a failed air series or a move of your own which puts you into the air and allows you to fly after), you can enter flight or use any teleport you want as well as all of your normal air mobility options.
You cannot command grab or normal throw someone hit by 3C when they hold up. My best deduction is that 3C leaves them in a state where you’re able to enter your prejump frames by holding up and it just maintains that state of prejump until the 3C runs out or you stop holding up.
Spencer can Zip into the air. Morrigan can DP xx Fly. Viper can BK feint. Akuma can DP xx Hyper and so on with other characters.
3C remains active on people after they are snapped or hard tagged, but to snap them you’d perhaps have to use something like throw > OTG + Spencer Slant Shot, 3C xx Chaotic Flame and link a snap after, which is by no means a good use of resources in most cases. Even after very short combos you cannot do 3C xx Chaotic Flame, as 3C doesn’t have enough hitstun by that point. Slant Shot > 3C xx XF > Snap does work, but again it’s not something you’re going to use in any serious situation instead of outright killing with the XF.

15 frames of startup / No active frames listed / 36 frames of recovery.
-21 on hit.

You get touch of death combos/ frank level up options/great meter building/ entry setups/ command grab setups/unblockables/ and loads of other ish. The only thing is without dorm this team loses to zoning (and still loses to certain characters).
Just want you guys opinion about the team?

Someone did this with Frank on point, and it was pretty powerful. Abuse Dark Hole + camera to snatch people out of the air.

Captain America (Charging Star) / Dormammu (Dark Hole) / Hawkeye (Greyhound)
It works pretty solid for me from what I can see. Dark Hole allows Captain America some defense when zoning with Sheild Slash and Greyhound support and also allows him to get full combos off throws (nearing 600k for one meter so far). The soft knockdown on Charging Star can be used with Flame Carpet late in combos in order to give Dormammu the change to relaunch again, also gives him some breathing room. Greyhound is fast and allows both characters room to work and get in if necessary, but mostly Cap throwing his sheild and occassionally getting support from Dorm or Dorm using Liberation to create walls of shit being supported by Greyhound or Cap’s Charging Star. Super Jump heights are covered by Dorm and by Cap through the intelligent use of projectiles.

Hey guys I’m trying to run a new team here, keeping Skrull and Dormammu but replacing Doom with Akuma (I’m just not good enough with Doom).
This is the team order in mind but I’m open to all suggestions: Skrull (Stone Smite), Dormammu (Dark Hole), Akuma (Tatsu).
Firstly, I know all three characters are deadly in level 3 XF as an anchor so there is a lot of versatility here. Dormammu I feel needs meter and Skrull doesn’t as much (despite what people may think). Skrull can try to build meter and use dirty command grab/st L set-ups of Dark Hole assist and build meter without using it via. resets. Skrull isn’t very good defensively either so Tatsu works as a defensive assist and then once I have breathing room I have all the Skrull set-ups in open space. From what I’ve heard and read in the forums, Dormammu isn’t too strong on point so I decided on Skrull instead. Maybe I could switch around Akuma and Skrull but Skrull’s assists suck ass so I’d rather keep him on point.
The Akuma-Dormammu team synergy is very intruiging. Dark Hole also works wonders for Akuma because he has good 50/50 mix-ups. Akuma’s assist also helps Dormammu for keep away if need be or teleport set-ups. I don’t really need to extend combos among my team because each character has sufficient OTG moves to continue combos alone. I’m looking for assists that will help me with ‘ghetto’ resets or difficult set-ups in general.
Anyways what do you guys think? Is this a legit team? Is the order correct? The assists?

So ok, how are Dormammu and Vergil together? Rapid Slash seems like a really really really good assist for Dorm, but I feel like they’d be fighting each other for meter and I’m not sure what assist goes best with them. I was thinking Dorm/someone/Vergil.

Hmm, not a huge Magneto fan but I’m having trouble thinking of a beam character with better synergy than him. Maybe Hawkeye (arrows, not beam I know), especially Gimlet DHC Spiral Swords, teleport Helm Breaker/S works.
Also I should have mentioned Rapid Slash is an amazing combo assist for Dorm, at least from what I’ve tried so far.
