Good 360 stick?

So, I’m currently attempting to play SF II HD Remix on my 360, with a 360 controller, and it just sucks, haha.
Can anyone tell me what are some good sticks are for 360?

I’m in the market for a good stick also, anyone know if the Soul Calibre 4 Hori sticks are any good?

Could i use my ps2 stick => usb connector => xbox360? would there be noticeable input lag?

The SC4 sticks are the same as the Hori Fighting Stick EX2, just with a SC4 sticker on it. I’m fine with the stock version, but there are tons of tutorials everywhere on modding EX2’s with Sanwa parts and such.

I have the SC4 hori stick and it works pretty well. I am sure the SCIV sticks will work pretty good too.

Hori EX 2 Fighting stick isn’t bad. It’s not as good as a true Sanwa/Seimetsu but it works. The buttons are atrociously gummy but they work.

Arcade in a Box, best stick you can buy, short of one you build/modify yourself.

Correct.

I have the Doa4 hori stick, which is exactly the same as the sc4 and ex2 stick. It’s ok but not very durable, my mid punch button gave out after 3 months :frowning: I preordered the SF4 tourney edition stick hopefully that will work out better for me. Check it out for yourself:

Modding the EX2/SC4/VF5/DOA4/SF4 (wow that is a lot of revisions of the exact same stick) with new buttons isn’t that hard if you arn’t scared of a soldering iron. The stick is damn hard to change out but Sanwa snap-in’s basically dropped right in and you just gotta bend the metal prongs for them to fit height wise.

Hori EX2 and HRAP EX are solid bets. HRAP EX should be getting a US release very soon.

Using the SC4 stick myself and everything seems fine to me. Might modify it later on when SF4 comes out.

i’m digging my sc4 stick :X

Adding in some more Hori SC4 stick love (x2).

100% truth.

The EX2 is decent, and you’re not going to beat the price (the SCIV version was onsale for $30 at Target during Black Friday). Just remember, you get what you pay for, and you’ll probably have to replace the buttons within 3 months of heavy use. If you’re just a casual player however, this is definately the way to go. Modding this stick is considerably harder than modding a HRAP.

A custom stick like Arcade in a Box is obviously the creme de la creme if you have the extra coin lying around. Also, no need to mod since you’ll have your desired speccs right from the beginning of purchase

A good middle ground can be found in the HRAP EX that is coming out on the 29th. I think its $130, so that puts it right in the middle, pricing wise. HRAPs are also traditionally braindead easy to mod, so thats something to think about if you’re not too great with electronics but still want the option to customize your stick.

Hope this helps!

i play on a sanwa modded hori stick, and it’s perfect. i’ve always wanted an hrap so i might pick up the hrap ex and mod it.

The Hori EX2 is fantastic. Unless you’re a top tier player it won’t feel bad at all.

got my hrap ex on preorder thru amazon, gettin a box for xmas

gettin the stick early jan

so i got like 2 weeks at best to beat myself some mirrors edge and dmc4 lol

im doing the same bro no way in hell im paying 60$ more to get it now through akihabara. oh the way ah well time for some … NOSCOPES!

Man, I can’t cancel my order for the ex2. After reading about it here on SRK and other forums, I’ve got grave concerns about the quality.
