Bowser vs DK hype
From what I understand, the original Godzilla vs. King Kong was originally supposed to be Godzilla vs. Frankenstein (yep, a Kaiju sized Frankie) but insted got scrapped in favor of Kong, but still retained some ideas from Frankie (like Kong being reinvigorated by lightning)
King Kong in Japan is so interesting if you ever look it up. Nintendo had legal drama because of the movie, they tried to bully Nintendo into giving them money over donkey Kong originally. But they did not own the rights, it was a public domain property I believer and so they were trying tj use jedi mind tricks to get money from Nintendo

In all seriousness, this shouldn’t even be a fair fight, and we know it. King Ghidorah is the only real true capable counter to Godzilla and that’s really it. If Godzilla were to actually go completely all out against Kong than the fight would be over within their first encounter in the movie.
All of Legendary Godzillas powers at this point put him on a completely different level to all other Kaijus that we know right now, along with his durability which has been not just displayed within the movies, but within the comic books as well which are canon too.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m super, Super Hype, and I’m willing to let the pan fly even though Godzillas power display is far, and away above Kongs, this is an instant classic, and it has to happen.
I’m sure they’ll make it “look” like an even fight, however this time around I’m 100% confident Godzilla is going to win this time around.
Can’t wait for this movie, since all of this build up is to this very moment, and I’m going to hit the theaters for this.
